So just wanted to discuss with interested people what they think the next few months hold in store for the USA and the world as a result .

Would love to get @Marc Landers (although I know your busy.) input on this with his background and after seeing his tweets as I'm a great believer in Trump, i mean bigly 😁 and didn't think my fascination over the last 8 or 9 years in American politics and world events was as prominent in the UK.

For the record i think a lot of what we see in the world today is the world coming to a precipice and under the current administration there isn't even anyone with respect on the world stage to have discussions with. I see the future as one way or another Trump returning ,talks with Putin ,Xi and modhi amongst others and the world emerging as multipolar as opposed to Team USA and a better future.

I grew up with an American 'Step-Mom', and my little brother holds a US passport. Their side of the family are all hugely against Trump. One of the reasons I recall was a 'government shutdown' where two in the family whom work for NASA went unpaid for months on end.

From my perspective, Trump is the first and only US president in my lifetime to have started no wars, and his historic 'Abraham Accords' across the Middle East were revolutionary - seeing various Arab nations recognise Israel for the first time – yet how far we've fallen since. I do however feel like Trump (as with Johnson) rushed into launching a vaccination campaign which has largely since been proven as unsafe, I lost two family members to vaccines - and no-one to COVID itself.

I don't think Trump is particularly competent, but I see Harris as being far worse. US voters are currently being forced into a decision between bad and worse IMO.

I don't mean to be a sensationalist but it feels like WW3 could be on the horizon, and I think world peace/security would be better maintained with Trump in power.

...for cannabis, I feel Harris will do better, and we'd be more likely to see federal legalisation.

Don't get me wrong I wouldn't want Trump as a politician so to speak and couldn't care about him before he ran. His main selling point for me is foreign policy and the ability to bring people together as in heads of state , whilst reforming the department of state and three letter agencies which instigate and bring regime changes all around the world .
If this can be brought under control than the world will be fundamentally better.

Hardly sensationalist to suggest WW3 could be on the horizon, seems like this moment in history needs Trump or maybe the west is left negotiating our futures with the likes of Macron, Starmer, Harris and Rutte , these don't stand a chance with leaders like Putin, XI and others.
