If I have no appetite I still eat or if I have issues eating I drink. Guinness is good, a stock cube in hot water is good, soup or stew is good. My easiest is still an oxo cube in hot water and it tastes good. The salt in it is useful too for electrolyte issues. Shakes are good too. I used to have a bag of protein shake mix, but nowadays toss fruit and yoghurt into a blender and it works just as well. The protein shake mix might be cheaper though. The key thing is to consume something. If you keep your electrolytes in order you can survive without food for a while, but you need to drink water. If you do go down that path, take an A-Z multivitamin tablet every day to try and keep everything in order.
