Flower What’s best for headaches, migraines

Hi all
Not sure if I’m posting this in the right place.

I’m trying to find a good flower to deal with head pain. I suffer with a condition called Chiari malformation , which pretty much means my brain is slipping into my spine, fun hey!

I was first prescribed glitter bomb from BNM but it seems to be out of stock.

Can anyone suggest anything similar that’s is good for blocking head pain?

I have tried looking but it’s a complete minefield and I’m struggling to process it all, which in turn hurts my head.

I’m currently under Integro.

Any help much appreciated

Hey welcome @HazyLady, my number 1 go-to strain for brain sprains and pains is Aurora® Black Jelly, I don't use it for anything else really, just when the old noggin is throbbin

Others will hopefully chip in some other suggestions too.

Based on the name you chose for the forum, do you like hazes? If so I have more suggestions...

Haha it was just a name that came to me, maybe it’s a sign. I’m so out of touch with all of this. I remember a few Hazes from my youth her days but knocked it all on the head way over 10yrs ago and swore never to touch it again. Then I was diagnosed with Chiari and started using CBD and realised that the flower had the power to keep it away. Honestly my body has been through most prescription drugs from the GP with either no effect from the pain or terrible side effects. So I’m so happy this window opened and I’m just trying to learn as I go.

A very similar situation to many here, inclding myself - everyone here has their own disabilities / long term conditions but it's a similar road often which gets us here, glad you found it and are getting some relief, keep asking away if you have specific questions and people will chip in to help

Welcome @HazyLady, I’m also using MC for headache / migraine management. As @Lank72 mentioned, AP black jelly is a good potential strain & also working for me. You mentioned using CBD previously , are you still using this as I find it to be an important piece in the jigsaw and THC alone is not as effective. If not, either buy over the counter or online, you can also get it from your clinic.

Mac 1 4C Labs SNDL good for pain , High silver easy on head and releived migraines for me. Sudz or any profile dominant in soap can be a forgiving profile

I haven’t used CBD for a few years now. I randomly bought a vape and tried it and found some relief. So do you use the CBD as a preventative or when the pain hits?

I use it for both, my maintenance dose is 70ml per day and I increase upto 150ml as and when I need. For me it appears to increase the effectiveness of my THC flower and I use less when I take CBD.. I only take CBD oil as I dislike the CBD flower taste

4C Labs mac 1 27% £60 grown by SNDL , So just 4C Labs mac 27% there is a 4C Labs mac 25% i think and thats grown by KRFT £85.
Curaleaf High silver at £59. I would be surprised if high silver not there as on most formularies, Maybe contact to if they stock.
