Clinics Christmas Delivery: Starting to Panic!

Interesting Curaleaf think the correct humidity is 55% most people appear to use 62% or 58%.
I had a response from Curaleaf about the 55% humidity packs

Thank you for your enquiry.

It is suggested that the “optimal” relative humidity level for storing medicinal cannabis flower is around the 55-62% range. Regulating the humidity, at either end of this range is appropriate.

The 62% pouch pictured on the website is for illustrative purposes only.

Even without using the humidity packs, medicinal cannabis flower, if stored sealed in the original container according to storage instructions, will maintain its medicinal potency up to expiry.

Suppose you actually want the optimal for using it when you get it not storing it and 55% is v low in my opinion but with how dry their products are it might actually add to the humidity but If I were you I'd get some around 62% .

I have 62% packs in all my jars, I'm just getting the Hump with Curaleaf really, getting shit flower delivered with no taste or smell and when you complain it seems like they don't care and you get the spiel of having to wait 20 days for it to be looked in to. My last script the Farm Gas was dry with quite a bit of shake now this script The GG4 is not only not a Sativa like I was supposed to get but dry and no taste.

They will always say this as they will feel justified in giving dry tasteless meds , Curaleaf musn't buy into terpenes effects and such 🤷‍♂️
I do feel as long as it's in the medical spec they don't care as it will sell.

The Farm gas would be the same no matter where you order it from.
You could try ordering meds that are not curaleaf as they say they do it ,but Its looking like everything at the moment is 'not allowed' or sub par from expectations and becoming a pain in the backside for you, you know you've got options mate (y) this is your journey and it'd be nice to look forward to your script and relief instead of worrying about products usability.

I don't know what to do.
As I said before I was prescribed a Sativa GG#4. When it arrived it stated on the packet its Indica Hybrid. I had a few phone calls back and forth from Curaleaf and Zerenia. Curaleaf saying it's defiantly Indica and my prescriber saying it's defiantly Sativa because of the parents. I paid £69 for 10g of this GG#4 and still have it all here because it's useless to me, and it's quality is terrible. So my question is, Who is going to pay for my High Silver @ £69?? My clinic? because the doctor prescribed me something wrong? or Curaleaf for wrong packaging? I was refunded for The rubbish Farm Gas last time and now I'm having to complain again. I'm not strong enough to keep complaining, it really gets me down and I don't think I should have to with the money we pay. This really is a worry I shouldn't have to have.

Surly the batch could be different?
It could be by coincidence ,but if you oredered some now and I did we probably get the same product, it's nothing to do with Curaleaf as it's produced/branded by Aurora® and just bought in by Pharmacies .

Below are the curaleaf produced products or curaleaf brand products .

@Dooby Doo @node ,this was today!

Your prescriber is 100% correct, and props to them. Glad to see at least some clinicians understand how genetic lineage works, even if Curaleaf themselves are seemingly still being stubborn over their own attempts to erroneously reclassify as Indica Hybrid.

Bluntly, Curaleaf aren't going to refund IMO - and I don't think they're going to admit to misclassifying cultivars intentionally either (opening themselves up to legal action). If I were you I'd start my swap to another clinic, then once accepted, ring your bank, explain the situation, and submit a card dispute/chargeback to Curaleaf.

If you do a chargeback now while still a patient there, we have seen examples before (with other companies) where they demand reimbursement for the amount refunded before allowing you to order again.

It sucks this is the only real recourse patients have, unless they have deep pockets and can hire legal representation.

It is garbage but its the only point of leverage. Request your Discharge letter by email. Put reasonable deadline on it. One clinic was so bad I gave them 48hrs to send it. The only time they actually delivered. Poorly managed, no process, poor staff bouncing around. Never be afraid to chargeback - do not depend upon any one "operator". If I need to do a chargeback the trust has gone so...NEXT!

Hiya,
So I've been on to my clinic today about my Gorilla Glue #4 coming in packaged as an Indica when it was prescribed as a Sativa. I've been given another prescription for a Sativa that I can't afford because I'm stuck with whatever this is!! (no taste or smell) . As it stands, My Clinic Zerenia are standing by GG4 is 100% Sativa because of the parents to which I agree BUT........, Curaleaf are swearing blind that GG#4 is Indica Hybrid as described on the packaging. Someone help me!!! I'm going to cry!!! Both swear blind they are correct, and won't pay for my new prescription., to which I think Curaleaf should stump up and investigate after!! I'm looking at it as, I'm allergic to Penicillin, if I was prescribed Antibiotics and a pack with Penicillin turned up......I wouldn't touch it would I, because I could die!! Also I have Farm Gas @27% Why would I want a lower strain at 23% to which she replied " I totally understand" If I had hair I would have pulled it out!!!IMG_1768.jpg

I have this, it's very poor, on my pack it says Indica Hybrid. You can get strains that are Indica but may have Sativa in the strain. 60/40 70/30 and so on. I think this may be the mix up. It's a Hybrid more more leaning to Indica. I might be wrong.

It actually is a mis labelled product ,we know it's a Sativa Hybrid but there seems to be a clash of heads between prescriber/clinic who is correct and the supplier who is incorrect in my opinion it's just that @Turnster is at the end of the mistake .

I hope you are well.

Thank you for your patience while we have waited for a response from the supplier regarding your quality complaint.

We have today recieved an outcome from the supplier which I have included below:

Patient complaint received regarding Curaleaf GG4 23% THC, <1% CBD Flos 10g BN: CURA00192868. Patient states the flos has no smell and no taste. Patient also advises the product is having no therapeutic effect. The patient has contacted their clinic regarding this. Patient has provided photos of the product. These photos show the flower matches the expected appearance as per the certificate of analysis.
Batch manufacturing documents have been reviewed and show no quality defect with the product. Our bulk API samples are tested following methods laid down by the European Pharmacopoeia and the batch in question passed all these tests. Taste and smell can vary from strain to strain and from 1 batch to another. Taste and smell of the flower does not affect the therapeutic effect expected from the flower.
As no quality defects have been found with the product, it is deemed suitable for use and this complaint cannot be justified.
Patient has already contacted their clinic regarding the lack of therapeutic effect. As there is no quality issue with the flos it is possible that this is a tolerance issue. Patient also advised to discuss personal preferences regarding taste/smell with their prescriber.

I am sorry that this may not be the outcome you were expecting, although as the complaint has been deemed unjustified we are unable to move further forward with your investigation and your complaint will now be closed.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention and if I can help further please do not hesitate to get back in touch.
