I make a mean blueberry space muffin, my mum who used to be totally against cannabis ate nearly a half tray of my space brownies "trying to identify that lovely mystery ingredient, they are very moreish....." No :poop: sherlock, blamed my poor sister for that as she did know better :ROFLMAO:

I was off to a bad start when the office was open but nobody was in, what started as a cup of tea at a cafe soon went sideways when I saw apple crumble and custard on the menu, 10:30 too early? absolutely, sausage and bacon roll first, then crumble 😇

Grabbed a Tesco Whoosh for a couple of days supplies until my main shop. The plan for dinner was mince stuffed peppers, with fried onion/garlic, various herbs, tons of Worcester sauce and topped with melted cheese.

...Tesco refunded the mince 😅

Think I'm going to have to defrost some Swedish meatballs from the freezer overnight as an alternate stuffing, peppers don't look like they'll last beyond tomorrow.

Dinner instead is going to be buttery jacket potatoes with tinned tuna and cheese, can't complain too much 🤤
 
I lived just up the road from roquefort for a few years ;) The french have a (soft) cheese for every day of the year, as a lancashire lad by birth it broke my heart, their attempts at cheddar are not good!

Good idea with the meatballs, we used to buy bulk pack steak haches in France and mince them up, it was the same 5% fat mince meat but cheaper when you bought as pates

Jealous again! If I may, I suggest Danish meatballs if you haven't tried them. They are so delicious.

Homemade pepperoni pasta bake for me this evening (topped with cheddar obvs), I have been making this based on a friends recipe since the early 90's, long before it appeared in supermarkets hmmmmm

...so I now said this 11 hours ago, and I just put potatoes in the oven 😅

PS: @node I still have the darts highlights open in another tab to watch when I eat 😏
 
It's still in the oven an hour later. Covered the potatoes in a mix of beef dripping and olive oil (+salt/pepper) - the latter has a low smoke point, so I've got it in the oven at 180 degrees to go 'low and slow' 😅
