£40 a gram i will want someone to hand deliver it and tug me off for that. missed the mark price wise by some margin, i will continue to source my own. i expect the hash rosin to be £160 for 2g despite the lack of hardwarecompared to carts. disgusting really whe a treatment option can only be accessed as a treat a few times per year.I'm fighting with myself to be honest and my wife said just get some to try and shut up

Yeah the price is wild, its the reason I'm not interested in it to be honest. Also makes me think Rosin is going to be horrifically priced when it lands.

I have not bought flos this month, will spend the whole budget on whatever the new stuff is, for sound medical reasons, namely I am spending too much time and energy I dont have prepping and vaping flos getting to where I need to be, free of pain etc etc.
I started with real hash 53 years ago, I always intended that I end with it too, bye bye
I'm not a flower fan, but it's all I can get legally that suits me .. concentrates are more energy cost efficient for me.

I started my cannabis journey on hash, flower was seen as the premium, always double the cost. 3.5g for 10g was always the price 2004-2007 around my area.
Think my first 18 months didn't have any flower whatsoever.
That said, we expect cheaper options than both to come before too long.

In fairness, you really don't understand the amount of financial outlay that was required to get this to market. Every new format comes at a premium, flower once started at £30/g via UK medical. Call it "early adopters tax", but once the format becomes better adopted, and there's further market competition - prices will come down fast.
Wish I could publicly state prices we've been told to expect on other extract formats at launch, it's still over flower cost, but not that far over premium prices already
Ive seen some early threads on the site and that was an eyeopener.
There has been effort, cost and a lot of red tape to get this to a UK medical market. I have learned quite a bit in the last few days about extracts that I didnt know.
Lastly as a medical product I have recently been convinced that there are some patients who need this format of medicine and thats all I care about really.
I dont want to enable peoples recreational desires, I absolutely want to enable peoples medical needs.

its cornering the market early and pulling UK patients pants down to make huge returns as far as im concerned. Not really a risk on their part by any stretch of the imagination when an 8th sells for 89 canadian dollars (about £40) and they are clearly making profits on that. add in this non conformist 2g size and yeah its a piss take lol.

Im hearing that they had to treat it for our market which really confused me.
So whilst this hasnt been irradiated they have treated it in an unspecified way.
I thought the production process would remove any impurities.

any "magic" treatment that doubles the cost of the product i would say isnt worthwhile. the lack of information on what they had to do to "change" the product for the uk market stinks also lol. "see these beans here jack they are magic and i had to do magic stuff to them, yeah sure says heinz on the tin but trust me. £73,50 for a 20g tin" so mysterious lol
...Heavily muted remediated hash products in a rectal suppository format overaly priced for an extra £25 per gram...still interested, anyone?
