Importers/distributors try make at least 20-25%, pharmacies take 20-35% margin typically, these are standardised figures across most formats/meds in the UK. For flower, I often say add 100-150% to the Canadian price, and you have an idea of what can be achieved here (with all the mouths to feed). There's many other costs, such as international air freight (temperature controlled), local packaging, and various approval/license fees.20% import n say same for for testing just say £20 a g so looking at montus email reply it looks like that 40% threshold looks to be true for clinics involved. Everyone doubling investment but that £10.95 a g would be cheaper for importer bulkbuy.
Manufactured from prime flower, not trim/shake/by-product to the best of our knowledge.Immature heads, trichome stalks, plant matter, the lot. It’s probably the biggest piss take I’ve seen on medical by quite some margin.
Grown indoors, not outdoor. Think Canadian high-end flower, processed into bubble hash - there's more input flower required than the hash output by a long shot.Incorrect mate those plants are grown under the sun and are grown for hash only not a commercial grow under led and grown on salts ..big difference
I didn't expect them to be using flower to be honest but even still if it is really just 2 bags and everything 20-220µ like the COA says it's still wildly overpricedImporters/distributors try make at least 20-25%, pharmacies take 20-35% margin typically, these are standardised figures across most formats/meds in the UK. Eventually pricing will come down in the UK, and there's certainly "early adopters tax" right now (and a ton of outlay from Cantourage to get it to market), but these things really will come down over time. Flower was once £30/g in the UK.

Nope, I have no public proof, just what was said through the industry grape vine. Flower has apparently been "remediated" (could mean irradiated, or cryo-treated, or o-zone generators etc.) then that same flower (as we'd receive it here) has been processed to make the extract.@Muiredach do you have any links to the info about the manufacture of this product that confirms premium flower was used. I think this should be available to patients and would go some way to giving a better understanding of this product.
Pretty much the same here and explained that I had used it successfully over time and explained I don't wish to use them exclusively but as a product it brings a calmness that flower doesn't quite for me and as a result I'd like to trial these products to see if they work well as in the past.No idea on the criteria, personally I just explained my history with hash honestly and was approved. My script is already in the post, Smacksalad too, and @GrownHealth should get his by end of the day I'd assume!
Why do you need to remediate flower before making hash?Nope, I have no public proof, just what was said through the industry grape vine. I was specifically told it was only bud used, and no byproduct/trim/shake this morning.
The best bet is to email/contact Phant and try get a verdict from the horse's mouth - we've never spoken to them directly.
£2-£4 a dose. I have to budget things in this way to understand their viability.Thats my pace for a bit of static dry sift i want to last forever but for a bubble that uses a 25u bag its got to be at least 0.1s

I was expecting a bit more information forthcoming about a new product. Without MedBud and knowledgeable people like yourself I wouldnt have a Scooby.
