After a festive break full of Tim Tam slams and exotic flavoured Japanese Kit Kat's, I feel they deserve their own thread in recognition of their greatness, I like a LOT of biscuits (don't ask how I am moderate/slim build still, thank you mum for them genes) so for me it's easier to start with a couple of the ones I do discriminate against, rather than list ones I like, so without further ado I give you garibaldis and fig rolls!

My little heart would drop when I opened the biscuit barrel as a child to see only these remained, my siblings liked them so requested them, but obviously ate the biscuits I liked first as we had to share, don't get me started on sharing, when you;re outnumbered 3 to 1 by philistines of the biscuit world....

So let's have em what do you love or what do you hate. As a side note, if anyone knows aywhere in aberdeenshire that stocks Tunnocks milk chocolate wafers (the one like a blue riband but better, not caramel one's they are a penny a dozen here) please let me know. The only place I've found them was the Tunnocks/Tourist store at Gretna services, Asda stock the dark chocolate ones but I'm all about the milk (unless there are only dark chocolate digestives to be had :p)

For me I always liked the cheepo traditional biscuit your bourbon ,rich tea and so on and whilst I liked garibaldis, fig rolls I grew to hate :ROFLMAO:

Nowadays it tends to be chocolate with mint or orange as in clubs, kit-kats and the like .

Bakewell slices win everyday for me over a packet of biscuits and maybe even a raspberry miniroll but that's my weakness handy cakes /muffins and as I do the shopping 🤷‍♂️

Not going to knock back an almond slice either, kiplings bakewell tart as a treat at my nan's was high living in the 80's, I read @JR52 post and was like yeah I relate to that, it's "just" chocolate digestives now, when I was a kid they were biscuit royalty. Anyone remember cheap Nisa biscuits? They did bourbon creams, custard creams, orange creams and somewhat disturbingly coffeee creams. You can add anything coffee flavoured to my hate list and stick your cafe renoirs where no choux pastry should go!

Cream mini rolls and pickled onion monster munch and fruit corners are my faves at the minute.not together though
I've got roast beef monster munch here, I miss 80's MSG crisps, I'd do some pretty unlwaful things for a fresh box of 1980's beef flavoured disco crisps or bbq beef chip sticks.

My son loves the roast beef monster munch.my favourite crisps were seabrook Worcestershire sauce from the 1980s

I had cola flavoured McVities Jaffa Cakes the other day, they were acceptable but not the tastetastic treat I'd hoped for.
