I got one fairly recently and it seems pretty aggressive and easy to over do it but in more extreme cases where boveda just doesn't have enough juice the hydro stone delivers. You ever have flower that after a couple weeks rotating multiple boveda nothing is happening? That seems to be where the hydro stone shines for me. You can go from bone dry to too wet and squishy in about 45 mins it's quite something.
Be intrigued to hear @bluesoul's approach to things and how he's doing it, think he's mentioned he leaves it for 8hrs

The stone is why I started making reviews in the 1st place. I have a very specific way of doing it that ALWAYS makes it like it just come cured n still sticky off the grow. I discuss it in most of the vids. It makes the dry flaky 7 MONTH OLD WEED - sticky. Also, it gets even better in the jar over the next week with an Integro BOOST. It's 8 hours timed. I have to write every turn of the jar down cos of bad ADHD. BUT that's a good thing to adhere to - timings anyway so you'll do it right and ya feel more connected to what ya doin'.
It's a process man but I will NEVER not do it again. Is it worth it ??! I have NAILED EVERY SINGLE PROFILE. Like a motherfucking connoisseur haha. I have sampled virtually every flavour and every aroma off the last 30 strains that I used the stone on with ONE exception - Candy Store cos it was "hayish" BUT I still got flavours which negated the hay hey COS the stone is that good. (See Candy Store vid). Lukewarm (cooled boiled water ALWAYS) water for a tropical steam, is what I do now. As it should be. I used to do cold but a tropic steam seems more apt haha fuck me man I got this DOWN. It's not aggressive. IT IS EXACTLY what is needed when it's 6/7 ha and 8 month old in a bag/pot INEFFECTUAL dry, flavourless, aromaless - AKA BLAND AF bud... which, is what I tasted for 14 fking months b4 I finally used the stone.
It brings the terpenes to FULL fruition, hence all the aromas and flavours I get - and the effects.??! I AM FUCKING FLYING rotflmfao. It makes it like new. It turns DRY ASS SHIT into 8s n 9s. I shit ya not. It's not a game changer. It's a paradigm shifter. It works like a fucking dream. Which is WHY I will NEVER need to spend more than 6 a gram on "Medical" NOR would I want to with the inconsistencies. When I have all that choice at that price range anyway AND I HAVE TO work the weed so it's right anyway. IIFG it was all fresh I wouldn't need to do it. IT AINT FRESH ENOUGH. EVER. [STOP PAYING OVER THE ODDS IF YA WANNA SEND A FUCKING MESSAGE PEOPLE]. Ya know what's NOT inconsistent. GUESS lol. EVERY. FUCKING. TIME MAN . GAMUT. 8 hours. With care. I mean WHY the fuck not. I've done 10 hours but 8 is DEFO the sweet spot. 12 is borderline gettin ya weed too "steamed" and getting signs of damp smells. THAT is why ppl fuck it up. How long do you soak the stone for mate? I did 5 mins and wonder if that’s where I’m going wrong. If I did more then an hour how I had it the weed would be past the point of no return. I tried a bud at 45 mins and it was too wet basically ruined
I soak for 10 mins. I left the stone in for an hour or so last time cos I was busy n forgot. Patted it dry and put it in the jar for 8 hours with no detriment.How long do you soak the stone for mate? Ya can't let the stone touch the bud in the jar. That can be finicky. WORTH IT
10 min soak stone in lukewarm boiled water. Pat dry by just placing on a tea towel. Don't pat dry as such, just place it and turn it.
Finesse ya bud in the jar away from stone. It can be a couple millimetres just as long as it aint touching
Turn every half hour (Shake jar/turn stone around/put opposite side of stone on opposite side of jar) for first 3 hours then once an hour for the last 5

I don’t get what we are doing differently then mate I mean I only soak the stone for 5 mins then 45 mins later the flower was proper spongy and wet like it had gone too far. If I had done 8 hours I think it would have been mush!
how much flower do you do at a time does that make any difference? And maybe does a bigger or smaller jag change things

First turn half hour later, or 45 mins as I am wont to do sometimes when I ADHD the timer that just went off and I'll remember usually cos I see the yellow note I made with a post it note. Or 9 n a half depending on what I got to smoke for the 8 hour wait but usually 10g. NEVER had anything like that happen. I did a 12 hour soak which I will report on on Friday. THAT is the ceiling I have found where it gets too damp. Something is up if it's ruined after 45. When I 1st researched it. I saw basically 4 hours for the 10g soak. So I doubled it. It has NEVER not worked Will, in 30 attempts

These are the Imp. Mimosa "timings" from last week. Like I said; I try my best to do half hour at a time for the first 3 hours then 1 hour at a time until done. If I miss the timing then I will do the next turn for an equal time cos OCD anyway ha, Then try keep on track again lol see sheet. It looks like a lot of "work" and it kinda is that 1st time. UNTIL you finish that first 10g "steam" - THEN it becomes like a hobby, a MUST. A NO brainer. A pleasure for ya leisure cos terpene treasures. A JOY. SOMETHING YOU LOVE TO DO ha Cos results, Will. So worth it. NIght and day. S o as a result, just like me; YOU WILL be driven to do it every time. You'll wanna see how much weight ya can put on it haha. How many flavours and aromas ya can get outta it after that 8 hours POST BLAND first taste. lol etcetera etcetera etceteraaaa. FUCK YUL. TOKE TILL I CROAK LMAO. I've done this with all 40/45/50-55/10g strains that I've bought for the last 3 months. I am SO sorted with this lmfao. U just need the time to do it in. Easy for me to be honest atm. I have done 8g for 8 hours too - I'm sure think I did anyway lol fk - If not I defo did SIX hours if I'm remembering it wrong for the 8g, So that's cool too. I'd have to search me vids for that info ffs lol But I'll do it again on Friday when I get the La Bomba and Tang. Widow. I'll take a gram each out to toke and last me and put 9g in the jar for 8 hours AND I'll put weight back on them hahahaha. PUDDIN'
