Extracts Phant TC T55 Tri Crumble Ice Water Crumble (Hash)

Please post a precis of his thoughts, I can't watch 99% of UK MC YT vids, they are so awful. I'm such a snob. 8-0

It's like voice notes isn't it. I can't be wading through it all to get the 3 or 4 key words or phrases I'm looking for, whereas text can be scanned and all the performing skipped. I'm with you!

No worries mate will do and it's not for everyone Ytube but I'm liking the recent live streams with a mix of creators and patients talking over issues in a constructive way👌
It's not YT itself I find difficult to watch, I have run and produced for channels there with millions of views 8) It's the folk with a laudable urge to help but zero idea technically and creatively, awful lighting, triggering AI graphics, terrible sound, mumbling or no speech and waving a bud around out of focus gets me! The green haired feller does it fairly well, but I don't like his persona. As I said I'm a traditionalist snob. 8-D

I suppose it depends on what you're looking for with them. If you want to know about medicine then I agree, it's like a needle in a haystack with the live streams.

I treat medical reviewers like politics, 99% is guff but sometimes it can be entertaining to listen to the waffle.

My biggest pull to the likes of Smack and a few others, especially in the live streams is they can make me feel a little less lonely - with working from home and not a massive social life things like the lives and various podcasts can be quite helpful.

I watch Smack only these days and even then occasionally.

The main reason being I know he will be honest, I will probably watch today - we can all have 2's on his mad excitement no doubt 🤣

I think that's the point of YouTube in essence though right? It's supposed to be hobbyist at heart.

You mean drew? I find him unbearable so I haven't watched his videos for a good few years. Back then he just had a go pro or something similar.

I think Smack, Pain Patient and Psuedo lead the pack for knowledge imo but production lacks and then you've got people like Smokey Mo, Medicated Mate, UK and Legal, etc. who don't really seem to have much knowledge (you can see them winging it) but the documenting of their journey is what I look for in them moreso than MC knowledge.

I feel ya, I guess I better not start a channel then 😉😂.

I'm well excited for Smacks live, I'm trying to move a 1230 meeting so I don't miss it 😂

Probably mate!

I'm fairly sure I've been shadow banned by the sub recently. I called out there sensorship with auto deleting mentions of MedBud and wiki in any comments, and it's been radio silence in any interaction in that sub since. No upvotes, replies, etc.

I'm usually being a cunt around there so apologies if I've gone off at you at any point. This is my happy place..

Yea Drew. It used to be "hobbyist" I've been there since the start being an old techie, but now it's very much commercial , if you have a substantial number of views and subbed members your monetised views are paid for by inserted ads, Drew will be making a living from that alone, many other MC reviewers the same. Good luck to them, I've done it, but a hobby it isn't. All imho ofc.

Reviews on MedBud are much better and more accurate.
Some crap rap music and a bit of bud spinning about with a 15second video or like you say some bad audio mumbling.
I also note that most the streamers cite MedBud but have obviously never read the comment sections of the forum or they wouldnt come out with half the guff they do.
My pet hate with streamers is their want to fragment the small medical cannabis community by "sign up to my discord" by now there are probably 20 different discords.
We need a central resource hub that everyone uses not each community in their own little ghetto.
Lastly the stuff that streamers buy makes me wonder why? Buying the whole redecann range then getting suprised when its bad.
Just baiting.
Combusting on stream and then saying "Im very sick" when doing a 1g dab is nothing short of insulting the people who need medical cannabis.

Keep it, basically basic...

My dislike of streaming is much more general because its the same as ive found in other hobbies in that the ppl change dramatically inline with studying their analytics and if they start kinda geuine after 3 vids and realising hey alot of ppl switch off when i say ....or alot of ppl sub when i say.... they are being molded by the machine before your very eyes and its lead to the platform just being a massive inauthentic advert.

Thats a good point and one that we probably underestimate.
I prefer anonymous forums where what you post determines its success or failure, not your profile or your upvotes however that seems to make me a troll.

I agree. This is alternative medicine for all, not just the one specific kind..and fragmenting our resources instead of pulling together, dosen't make any logical sense whatsoever, without sounding too much like Spok, Star Trek.

or,

"Our mission here is to replace fragmented, siloed efforts with a unified, patient-centered ecosystem that ensures high-quality alternative medicine is not just a niche option, but a standard, accessible reality for everyone."

They have a similar conflict in the States, although they're warpspeed years infront of us!

Yeah I know you can make good money on it but the OG premise of YouTube is anyone with a camera can do it.

The MC guys don't make anything from ad revenue though, all their videos are demonitised even without showing flower unfortunately.

So the likes of Smack and all the guys on the live streams do it just for the fun, that's what I mean with hobbyists.

If you go to Drew's first video though, it's just him in a bedroom talking about being kicked out of School lol.

You are right that it's become way more commercial the more the years have gone by. The way sky, etc. have full on channels, sub channels and podcasts is really dominating it all. Even guys like the Sidemen are a full on production company these days.

I dont think many streamers could hold a candle to the work smack has done promoting medical cannabis and the way he has done it.
So despite all I said I will watch the hash stream today and think its noticable that all the streamers are grouping around him and his channel.
No hate. One love.

Peak YouTube for me was Marcus the BC bubble man setting up a camera in front of a set of screen printing screens and spending 15 mins talking about how he liked using a certain card because it had a certain type of plastic that lifts contam just 👌

100% he's the face of Medical imo.

Forums for knowledge YouTube for products, I dont watch the lives and alot of weedtubers. I might not agree with them and might be some ego but if you have the energy with conditions then good on you, Yes there is product placement and too friendly with the industry imo.

There is alot being taken down urbanremo for 1 fkn sad for what he built. I posted hash bash video on forum to remind everyone that they can still come down on you even when legal, im alright jack industry whores we see you. I have yet to see a real organised cannabis movement in the uk.

I like to watch rso sos as he goes to alot of community events that i cant go to but looking at those events and the intro of rosin then a MedBud in the park could work perfect with everyone on board inc industry instead of corporate events. Terp talks , dosages , dab lounges hash bar flower vapes edible lounge , camping maybe. £50 a ticket gd food n music, glass blowers. Out of the shadows now!
