Once we've finalised a couple of pending advertising deals, we'll be looking to hire our second part-time staff member.

We're looking for an 'Executive Assistant' working directly under myself and our Strategic Director, @Tim Henley.

We need someone whom reviews and checks through our emails/tickets daily; categorises/assigns them; and updates tasks and diaries.

Also offering basic member support like forgotten password queries; directing medication queries to our forums; or actioning requests to delete unused accounts.

We're initially only looking for 5-8 hours per week starting out, increasing over time as demand and our budget increases.

Pay rate: £15-17ph (expected ~£350-550pm total based upon hours)

We require:
  • Excellent written English.
  • Typing ability above 60wpm (tested).
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Dependability.
  • UK citizens only.
Any prior professional experience in either project management or customer service is beneficial.

We are happy for this position to go to someone whom is already part-time employed and is looking to top-up their hours/income - though equally this role could go to someone with limited work capacity.

Basic familiarity with cannabis and the UK legal industry is beneficial, but a lot will be learnt on the job. There will be daily support/backup from our 7 strong staff team.

If you're interested, email: rlm@medbud.wiki

We don't expect the position to start before 1st July. We won't be getting back to applicants until we're closer to the date.

This is me 100% And, I'm looking for a new challenge! I've emailed the team my CV. Wow, what an opportunity...

We've received eight applications so far, and will start getting back to everyone likely next week.

All applicants have been male - as is all our current staff team. Just to note, we very much welcome applications from women too.

As Dr. Taz put it, we lack female energy in the team.

That said, MedBud has to consider every candidate based upon their individual merit, not their gender/ethnicity/age etc - and won't stray from that.

We're trying to highlight this fairly, as something feels wrong when we're currently not able to consider a single woman becoming the next member of the team.

Our audience here is largely male, but please do consider pushing partners, friends and family to apply too.

Further details in replies next week 👍

So not being like a dick about this, but some questions.

How many members on here are female?
How many of them are qualified to be an Executive Assistant?
How many can type, with high accuracy, at 60 WPM?
Is the pay PAYE or would the person be acting as a sub-contractor?

The English is generally easy since most people have at least a GCSE in it. But the typing one is interesting. Do you want a professional certificate and if so what are you specifically looking for in terms of certificates. This brought me to the question: Do the RSA equivalent professional typing certs still exist? Back in the day I got up to RSA Level 3, which off the top of head was something like 90 WPM with a 90-95% accuracy. But I haven't met anyone who has done a professional typing ticket in the last 20 years.

I won't be applying either as I am disorganised, can type 60 WPM but lack the accuracy nowadays, my english is only passable, despite having two GCSE's in it and several Access and University module. I'd love to say i'm dependable, but right now in my life, i'd be lying, but I am a Brit and do know something about Cannabis. ;)

Anyway, it's a good deal for someone. I have to work night shift to get that sort of money in my field and probably do more for it.

Why does this have to be a female? Sexist! I mean I'd really like the job, but I'll have to draw the line at male-to-female gender reconstructive surgery! Where I work, I'm one of the few men that work in a predominately female health and care environment and you don't here me complaining, quite the opposite in fact...

Good Luck My Darling's, may the best person be successful selected for their skills and attributes, putting age, race, gender etc aside. Funny, 8's my lucky number,,,

I'm 100% sure you could easily do it with your eyes closed, Haze
