Im new to all this also, its a lot to get your head around. Clinics, pharmacies lol.

I was given a card from cura leaf at a 420 event at hyde park i bet was in 2019 or 2020.

This was the only place i knew existed until this site. So i registered up with Curaleaf, still waiting for anything to advance.

Whats the clinic like as a company, do i buy from curaleaf only? Can u buy from different sources? I will read everything i can from here obviously but any help would be great. Ive ADHD, bit of this bit of that regarding autism, aspergers etc so it takes me a while to get it into my head lol.

My name is Brian btw, northern'er... up the sheffield crew.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum @BriWoods and if your not already signed up and prescribed with them I'd look elsewhere if I were you as we don't get too many positive mentions for them in here amongst patients (y)

Other clinics provide a much better service/selection for less money where as Curaleaf tend to point you towards their products which many find inferior to other available products although they do get products from other suppliers by no means the range other clinics offer .

Maybe have a ganders at Alternaleaf which many patients give great feedback on recently and are happy with the meds on offer and freedom to choose the types of meds they would like to try and it costs £10/month so is £5/month cheaper than Curaleaf.

Feel free to ask away mate and once again welcome 👏

Thanks guys.
@GrownHealth I will give this a look now. Ive not paid no money nor had an appointment with any doctor yet with Curaleaf so its worth me having a go. Id prefer to go where the grass is greener lol.

Having found cannabis more beneficial than the meds prescribed for my ADHD, plus other meds for things associated with it, 20 years plus and counting, it was about time i got into the MC scene.

So just to clerify, i go to a clinic to see a doctor, they give me a prescription, that subscription im able to use at 1 outlet or various (as long as im within my prescribed ammout) is that correct??

My main focus is being able to get a the green light to basically browse whats best for my needs without being limited to 1 place.

I went to L.A not so long back, i tried the THC vape pens. Wow what a difference that made. any thoughts, opinions on them?? Where to go and who to see so to speak.

If you haven't actually signed up with Curaleaf I would deffo consider a different clinic. Members here can make recommendations.

At my clinic I have an allowance and am able to choose what I want up to that amount. Some clinics do not do this but rather prescribe what they believe will benefit you.

I'd suggest you forget them then and your in the right place for us to show you your options whilst some can give real life experiences of their clinics as above .

Like so many of us here myself included have treated themselves for many years after finding the benefits so long ago but we've gradually migrated to MC ✊

It's much easier as it's done through online appointments from the comfort of your home and delivered often by Royal Mail :)

Depending which clinic you choose this can be done all inhouse or you can have your prescription sent to another dispensary so long as your prescriber is willing to prescribe it as they may be unfamiliar with it 🤷‍♂️ .
With my clinic they cover all medications and you have the freedom to browse and send your prescription where you wish as they don't have there own pharmacy/products so no bias but it is more expensive to join but also provides a more personal service as its a smaller clinic and if your are spending a lot on medication as some are is very suitable .

At Cannabis Clinic Cardiff you can use multiple pharmacies and your script would be split and sent to the relevant ones (y)

Well i signed up to Alternaleaf, paid my 10 pound monthly fee, booked an appointment, 29th of this month. Lets hope my brain remembers this!!

I have a feeling it will become hard work getting there, name change, NHS records etc. Long story but im sure it will work out.

Thanks for the advice @GrownHealth, before me being un-happy with my first choice lol. Price not an issue, just i like to be able to have variety of choices not restricted.

The good thing with what you have done is it will get you on MC whilst not costing to much up front and then you can assess your options going forward. (y)

I got sick of emailing all the canadians and americans for an import just to be turned down. Something has to drive you towards the legal way lol
Doja and Cookies are here now on medical or will be very soon so your timing is spot on as more are set to follow too with these type of products .
