A possibility could be a phased release so forum first, then you have members eyes on it for a limited time, before rolling out to the wiki. I could be being over cautious - but this has potential to make a "cultural" or vibe change here + it might suit your testing?

Welcome to the forum @AliceDevine an this site has helped and helps so many us myself included and glad to see it's helped you too and once funding is secured then plans will go ahead for further development and this is when volunteer positions will be required I would suggest but feel free to send details to acces@medbud.wiki as others have and once again welcome

All in-progress, the full advertising information/booking page will be publicly posted as soon as polished off - in-line with all the above discussion. Hoping if feasible to push for a 1st July launch, though I'm also dealing with an unexpected illness right now slowing me down majorly.

There's about 3-4 companies that seem keen already to be advertising at launch, so high hopes here - it's all clinics/pharmacies so far.

Almost complete now, we've published our advertising information page a little early for info: https://medbud.wiki/advertising

We will be giving first booking priority to companies that have reached out so far - first come, first served.

45% of space reserved for July/August so far

We're going to be taking on our first full-time staff member shortly, starting at about 20-24 hours a week, rising to 40 over the next six months.

Responsibilities will include liaising with companies to look after advertising accounts, general email support, helping verify patient accounts - and later verifying reviews before publication.

Position will be 'work from home' with an annual allowance towards maintaining office/tech required for work purposes.

We will be limiting applications to UK citizens only, and the position will also require a "Disclosure and Barring Service" check (formerly "Criminal Records Bureau") -given the legal/commercial/personal sensitivity of some information we deal with.

Please do not bombard our inboxes looking to apply just yet, but in the coming days a formal job announcement will be posted (likely on LinkedIn) - with further details on our requirements, and how to apply.

Salary info to follow, likely expected to start late summer.

The old CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check like my wife had as nursery nurse to the best of my knowledge.

So from an employers point of view - could it be comparable to credit rating / risk? eg applying for ye olde death-grip (mortgage) they would look into all your accounts.
