So my solo2 has just decided to break. the button has snapped and slipped down on the inside, so its pretty much dead now

so, i have the arizer air max as a backup, but the time has come to splash out

so whats everyone saying to get nowadays

solo3
or even a storz n bickel device (venty perhaps?)

I've got a mighty and it's sufficient but £200+ and in my mind if I was to get another portable it would probably be the tinymight2 but that is even more expensive than the mighty but definitely take your time deciding and get as much info as possible .

Tinymight 2 all day for my money bro. Amazing flavour, huge hits, removable batteries (huge in my opinion and often overlooked). I really like the all metal/glass/wood build. Most of the other popular vapes have an isolated vapour path but the air path is still through plastic, peek plastic apparently it's safe enough, but I can still taste it. The tinymight 2 the air path and vapour path are entirely isolated, and all glass/metal. Love the fact it's convection too. Feels like it hits way harder than my old solo 2 and you can take a hit, leave it, and come back later no issues. For me it's how a vape should be built. Peace

I was doing some looking last night and gotta say, I reckon I may have to try and hold off till black Friday cos some of the prices have flown up since 420

Before I came back into this group to see if there was any responses, I'd started to lean towards the solo 3 but the tiny might was a close 2nd

I just love the ease of the solos

The cleaning
The stem milk
The AVB

Plus absolutely no metal. It's basically the ceramic bowl, the glass and your precious herb

Ask your clinic if they'll prescribe a vape. I believe you will avoid VAT if it's prescribed vs buying its privately. Usually clinics will prescribe a Mighty+ Medic.

The s&b stuff puts me off with all the plastic and metal screens etc...
I've been watching a lot of cleaning videos and both the s&b and TM2 look far too fiddly

If the plastic puts you off I would say the tinymight 2 is the only game in town to be honest mate. Check out some tear downs, the solo 2/3 have the heating chambers mounted in a big chunk of peek plastic just like the s and b, just with a glass mouthpiece. Even the tinymight 1 the air path isn’t 100% isolated and a tiny percentage comes via the pcb area. The tinymight 2 has completely isolated, through only metal, glass and wood, the whole way. All the other vapes I can taste plastic and do a million burn offs and still can taste plastic. Tm2 for me was perfect from like one or two burn offs no odd tastes at all just pure tasty clean hits

I've never had an issue with any arizer to be honest

I've had 2 solo2s, 1st one to be honest I sent back for a replacement as was faulty

Fair enough mate in that case you can pretty much take your pick just thought if plastic bothered you it was worth a mention. The solos look all metal and glass from the outside but plenty of peek plastic inside just like the s and b it’s just better hidden. Peace

I'm not sure but I think Lee from Tabletop Bongs on YouTube does a review of the solo 3. He's an independent reviewer and I've double checked and he does the solo 4 too

No problem mate I went round the houses before settling on the tinymight so might as well share what I found on my travels the v1 solo 3 I tried was a decent step up from the solo 2 i think, the main differences being the bigger bowl size on the xl stem or whatever they call it and less draw resistance, felt like it had the potential to get me a lot more medicated easily where sometimes with the solo 2 I would have to double dip and pack another bowl after the first to get the required dose. The tinymight has the most potential here it has more then enough in the tank I have to be careful with doses lol it rips. You’re right on the tinymight accessories to some extent though, the cooling unit or balls make cleaning a bit more of a faff. Lots of great vapes out there really it just depends on what you value most. For me the tinymight is easily worth the minor amount of hassle cleaning stems but if you’re not as sensitive to me to the taste or smell of plastic I could see a solo 3 doing you proud
