Clinics Send your script from CB1 to another pharmacy

Hey guys, was expecting a fight as I've heard CB1 Medical are refusing to let people use external pharmacies... What a shock it turned out the complete opposite if you do this method; Call CB1 > Use extension 3 > when they answer just say these exact words "Hi I'm just calling to request my prescription to be sent to IPS" they will then go through some of your details then they take the name/amount of the strain/s your requesting and take payment of £5.80 to post your script to IPS... done... kinda gobsmacked it was that easy, they didn't even require me to give them the address etc for IPS everything is done automatically now it appears

I found it really easy but wouldn't do it again, certainly not for things on offer!

After I paid the prescription fee, it took another 3 days (and a phone call) to actually get it physically posted to IPS, then another 2 days for IPS to get/process it by which time an item was out of stock.... Then because I'm not an IPS patient their system wouldn't allow partial payments (so everything needs to be in stock)... After waiting for then to open the next day, I phoned them to be told everything is out of stock and CB1 Medical would need to send another prescription (at my expense) to kick off the whole sh*t show again!

Im assuming that was the bank holiday hence why it took till wednesday?

Update: didn't go well at all had to cancel the script to IPS and just use CB1 Medical (lost my £5.80 postal fee to ips but it is what it is) the day after my script was sent to IPS I called them and got stuck in a queue of 11 people for 55 mins before finally getting through to find out my script wasn't received yet so they said to call back again the following day... not doing the potential 1 hour wait again listening to call centre music so decided just to cancel it in the end.

Not worth the hassle it appears...

f me. I was literally about to call cb1 this morning to send my prescription to new grove for cheap life.

innit. I think the send prescription to another pharmacy malarky is for those that don't mind waiting a week to receive meds.

I've been itching to try there too as they have to have a good array of products as they package tons of it.
