Hi i have been using BM for 30+ years on and off the price of consultations put me off MC in the beginning but found Medicann were doing it free so here i am, i have just been accepted by Medicann had 2 phone calls very friendly and helpful they requested my medical records and it was all sorted in 4 days, i have my appointment for an Initial consultation with a Dr Sunny tomorrow at 08:30 looking forward to what i will be offered in the way of amount and strains

Thanks, its my first time so i don't know what other clinics are like but so far Medicann have been brill they did everything for me and no fees i would recommend them to a friend no problem

Write down a couple of strains you think that will work for you for when you have your Consultation. Discuss your health condition/s with your consultant and how they effect you from day to day and how cannabis has helped relieve your symptoms. Just be yourself during the Consultation, If you just want flower as a medication let your consultant know this.

Hello and welcome, I have found Medicann friendly and quick to reply to enquiries.

Thanks @cornucopia i have found medicann very helpful they requested my medical records from my GP and got them far quicker than i could have, my GP is not very helpful at all so im glad i did not have to deal with him, 100% so far

Snap! I'm in my sixties myself, we made it . As you have found already, there's decent folk here to help anytime, unfortunately, I'm not with your clinic but others here are as you have found and are more familiar how your clinic operates. Its good you have good customer care, after all we are the patients who need this to help us on our journey to better safer care. Hopefully you'll find the strains that work for you, I'm in a similar situation regarding my health conditions, pain being just one of them. I have found many good strains for my conditions but had disappointment too but dont let that worry you as MC has improved very much over the last 12mths, pricing, quality and choices.

You'll be fine mate, you will find what works for you. That's the issue with BM, it doesn't suit our needs but you will find strains that will work for you with MC. I tend to aim for Indicas especially the evenings as they give me space from my pain for better sleep. Kush strains are very good for pain. You can get some nice balanced Sativa's too which are good if you have things to do.

some nice balanced Sativa would be good for day time use the stardawg is too heavy to do anything productive, i am sure that with recommendations and a bit of trial and error i will sort it out, i will be glad to get out of the BM to be honest i am getting too old for skulking on street corners dealing with people 1/3rd of my age

I forgot to mention, I hope you have deep pockets for gadgets . There's some decent vapourisers available now and new tech for using our medical flower, i've spent quite a bit getting to where it am now finding the right ones for me but I have everything i need to help consume my medication wherever I am

i do have a vapouriser a cheap one and its taking some getting use to i think because its not the best quality i have been looking at better ones for the past few weeks and i have discovered that i will probably need a second mortgage to purchase something that works properly, any advise on where to start would be good.

I started on a pax3 and it didn't help me at all. Ive had storz and bickel, ok its quality but there are cheaper alternatives especially if your on a budget.
I'm not saying this would be ideal for you but I have an Xmax V3 PRO. I have the capsules and bubbler for on the go when needed and its convection heating. I can attach it to my Tabletop Bong with a 14/18mm attachment when i'm at home. I also have a Ruby Twist Ball Injector for home use too but I'd concentrate on getting your meds sorted first and find your way around MC

Thanks for the info on your kit i will be doing some research in to vaporisers as i need to cut down on the tobacco, costs weekly almost as much as the flower but i'm not in a rush to get a new one i have been smoking it for 30 odd years a few more weeks wont hurt
