A Week Off for MedBud's Founder

I'm both unwell and exhausted at the moment, and slipping behind on emails/messages/notifications etc.

Expect a quiet week from me, though I will be looking in daily to handle any major issues - and actioning all listing updates.

Got to recharge mentally and physically otherwise the consequences can be dire, sometimes you got to step back and relax spend a bit of time doing what you want not what you feel needs to be done ,the nature of your work is its never done ,always something needs doing/popping up.
You've made a positive decision now try an relax/recharge. By next week hopefully you'll feel up for it as opposed to I imagine the groundhog day feeling. Chill time with pooch .

Thank you, I'm feeling both happier and healthier this week - though I'm not quite fully back yet and I'm going to extend my quieter time a little.

During last week quite a lot happened behind the scenes, in-fact a lot happened which I'm choosing not to get into yet publicly - suffice to say it appears we managed to find solutions in all instances. Wish I didn't feel the need to be so cryptic here.

Otherwise, I'm trying to make some decisions on MedBud's future structure, involving the volunteer team, funding and several other changes we're poised to make. Feels very much like we're preparing for a 'new era' of the non-profit overall, one that isn't quite so dependent on me personally all-day everyday.

I'll no doubt make a bigger post once I've thought through everything more, and sought further feedback/opinions from others.

In the meanwhile, I'll be catching up with posts here properly over the course of the week

Communicated a little on twitter and while I can't speak for him ,he seems to be finding his mojo, maybe he was spinning to many plates and took a wee step back and is easing his way back in .he is doing all the MedBud stuff he needs to from what I can see . I also stopped tagging him for the same reason unless essential.
It seems he's carried an ever expanding work load for a long time , that's just what I seen since being here.

I had the same impression, finally having a well needed rest after doing a lot for too long. I find myself that when I eventually blow up from being unable to cope with everything that the recovery takes a lot longer than I first hope

It’s really important for all of us chronically unwell peeps to understand pacing so we don’t burnout

It’s so tough to do, especially when you know you’re doing good things

Thats it @BlackSheepVegan it can be hard to say no when you can do something ,even if it's to your own detriment , also like to add @Lank72 since stepping back a touch were seeing new developments on the site like new terpene profiling covering 39 terpenes and other bits of site development creeping in and his work in this field is what brought us here . All the new meds and stock levels stuff that's crucial for patient info seems to be on top off .

Suppose what we are doing in here is probably lightening the load at the moment a little rather than him constantly having to pop in and out of the forum, but I'm sure he's monitoring things and has appeared online a few times . Also his previous post above explains a lot.
