I just got accepted for my first cannabis prescription and I could be any happier with the quality and how much better this is making me I’ve been a smoker for years tried all the Cali ect but what my dr prescribed me is just on another level how smooth it is the taste the relief of gives you I got mac3 for day time and red pop for night time it says my maximum grams daily is.3 so I know that the 20 grams won’t last me a month I have booked a consultation with the dr this Sunday is it to soon to ask for more ? Will he think I’m smoking too much ? Will he cancel my prescription is it too soon ? Have a lot of worries and questions thank you people

Welcome @David1234 and it's nice to see your getting relief straight away and I would say ask for more as you clearly feel you need more and 20g is a very low amount so I should see no problem with the Dr changing your limit to a more suitable one and many of us that have used cannabis for years have a higher tolerance so there is that to bare in mind too and as an example I'm prescribed up to 70g/month and some are prescribed more and some less so basically you have started on a very low amount and I would just be frank about what you feel you need to meet your needs round the clock possibly as now you are using it a medicine so may need more on that front too.

The Dr I think will be understanding and are not looking to catch you out or anything as they believe in the medicine.

Great reply thank you very much. Their is a whole menu of a wide variety of strains and I would love to have a mix and match and find what is really gonna work best for me rather than being prescribed the same 2 strains every month I’d also find the vapes would be good too . My anxiety makes it hard to talk to doctors because they have judged me for years but I’m just going to be honest like you say thanks again

Let them know how much you usually use, they do like to start you low to see how you go, make a point of it when you talk about strains. Have a price range of what you can afford too

Yeah I knew my monthly consumption and provided that to the doc for reference. It helps the doc too, they should not give 20g who uses 60g and vice versa

I forgot to mention if its a Home vapouriser set up you want/need go for the Ruby Twist Ball Injector.
The Storz and Bickle portables are good but can be expensive and the bits and pieces you need to go with it
