Clinics GP Privacy

Does anyone know a proscriber who does not contact your GP?
The proscriber does not need to contact your GP if you provide the medical cannabis clinic with the required medical records.
You can request the needed documents yourself by going into surgery and asking for a "Summary of Care" and a list of given medication and therapies in the last 10 years.
You can state this is for private therapy.

I am not involved with the companies themselves, however I am not aware of any contact beyond that with GP's about an individual unless there was some cause for concern.
If you had privacy concerns it would be worth discussing them with the clinics seperately.

All GPs will receive notes from your reviews. And Alternaleaf sent a copy of every script until recently - I don't know who else does this.

I was under the impression they all did this. All the clinics I've been with ( CB1 Medical, Wellfords, AL and Medicann) have done some form of comms post sign up with the exception of Medicann.

Idk if this is a rule or just something some of them do to be honest. It's one of the few ways they can detect multiple clinic sign ups as your GP would also be sent a copy of your discharge letter. - or atlest I was unlucky to have mine sent across.

Thanks this is really informative and you have much better knowledge than I considering your clinic journey.
All I have is Medicann where I have never even spoken to a Doctor. Maybe not the best yardstick to go by.

Don't take it as gospel but I just assumed it was commonplace with what I've experienced. You're right about Medicann though that's for sure.

So in that case, OP might be in luck with Medicann if he can get an appt this side of 2035.
