Since the beginning they did not care about me. I told them what I didn't want and they went ahead and prescribed me things I didn't want (irradiated flowers and ingestion of oils) and I had to pay £395. I was told during my follow up appointment I could not choose what I want and then, they lost my prescription, did not reply my emails. I have nothing good to say about Dispensed, I felt like it was a scam.
BM in my area is strong. Tonight I will sort it out , actually my plug keeps sending messages as he misses me ....
It's good that you have a friendly solution and I was shown a list the other week by a mate and couldn't resist some of the choices especially the hash and they were lovely and a pleasant change and over the next few weeks MC has some solid stuff that'll be new to us so hopefully by the time you do get prescribed again you'll be fully aware of what is available when you go in to your appointment and wont have to pay for what you don't want and prices are actually getting more competitive just recently so all good on that front .

Terrible Service mate, at least you can look ahead, the appointment will soon come around. You will with your first appointment choose your flower with the doc so have a list with some flower that you think will work for you, IndicaHybrid, SativaHybrid, balanced or a mix whatever you know what works best for you. Be honest about previous use and you should be able to choose your own flower from your formulary on your 2nd prescription. If you were new to Cannabis a doctor would not let you choose your flower until he felt confident you can, over time.

I was in between clinics last time I posted. What happened next ...
Dispensed lost my second prescription and I had contacted CB1 Medical to swap clinics.
One day, I receive and email from Specials Pharma (Dispensed) saying they had my 1st prescription repeated. I did not want to buy all that stuff again but I went ahead and bought one vape cart, I am enjoying this little thing ... very flexible if you are out and about.
Moving on, no more Dispensed and I am waiting for CB1 appointment. There was a few hiccups with CB1 to book and rebook appointments but nothing major.
I had my appointment with the CB1 which I felt they were concerned about me (patient) than push me what I did not want. However, they gave me a stock/price list outdated and everything I chose was out of stock and I told the doctor I did not radiated flower he went ahead and prescribed me some radiated flower.
Conversation with the doctor was nice and relaxed, and I think he was training someone. Nice, more people joining the industry.
Now, I have access to their in app stock/price list which I can order whatever is stock for me. I think more you buy more choices you will have!?!?! Maybe someone can tell us more about it. App says something about it.
I think all MC flowers I have bought, so far, do not smell or taste great. I moving them to mason jars and smell and taste are improving. I need more time to confirm that.
Apples & gas makes me really highly medicated with a really nice body buzz without the couch lock. I recommend it!!
Sourdough flowers are to finish your day, very sleepy and the vape cart I haven't tried yet. I am still using the last prescription vape Curaleaf T840 WPT Medical Cannabis Cartridge.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Dispensed to anyone, apart of them impose to you what they believe is right for you they are very disorganised, they did not reply emails or took too long and the cherry on top is losing my prescription. They did not even try to blame royal mail.
CB1 Medical seems more organised and care more about patients. Their app is a great tool to get info, make appointments and the stock/price list updated .
I think that it is an industry in their early years with a lot of regulations. However, what I do not see in other countries is in UK they cover everything from work relations, driving, housing and other aspects of normal life.
I would like to leave a question to the community.
Can I used MC in hospitals environment?!?! I do not mean vape inside hospitals but if you have a surgery. How does it work? If someone has gone through this please.

Alright mate, good to hear your on your MC Journey now . Yes the industry is really in its infancy but getting better. You'll be able to pick your flower from your own formulary on the app now, there is non irradiated flower available but more irradiated flower, that's with all clinics/pharmacies. They like us to have sterilised flower due to many things, If you have lung issues especially, that is the most important reason why a doc may prescribe you irradiated. I have lung issues but still order non irradiated if the price or strain is right.
Lovely to see your finally up and running after the fiasco with Dispensed and finally having a decent choice to select from and you'll soon get to grips with what is best terpenes wise and a lot of MC does pick up when transferred to a mason jar as they may have been in the container for months at point of opening unfortunately .
Hi Dalata - welcome to the forum. Thanks for posting info on your clinic, its not one i am familiar with. I am a new MC user and have found it a fairly simple process, but i have noticed that some clinics do seem to be a little more 'authoritative' on setting you up with your first products that others. I was only given 10g of flower and 10ml of oil, but on my next meeting, i will be asking to change it. No doubt we will speak again soon.
I am new to medical cannabis in the UK (I have medical cannabis in the USA as well) and I just had my follow up appointment with Dispensed.
Let me tell you more about me. I am a 54 years old man and I have a condition called Psoriatic Monoarthritis. All the joints in my body are affected and I live with some level of pain, stiffness 24/7. I have tried all sorts of pain killers and anti inflammatories, prescribed or over the counter but the side effects are unbearable for me. Now I use pain management and cannabis (when it was available). I have been using it daily since I found out about this condition but I have been on and off for the last 40 odd years.
However, with help of treatment for this condition and use of cannabis have helped me to live a normal life (with limitation) and being able to keep a job.
I just had my follow up appointment with Dispensed (my first and only clinic at the moment) and I want to tell you about my experience with Dispensed so far.
I had my first appointment with a doctor and we had a nice chat about my pre condition and any mental health condition, especially schizophrenia. I have none of it.
I told the doctor I didn’t want gamma/beta irradiated flowers and I did not want to ingest cannabis (it can be quite overwhelming to me). In the end I was prescribed 30g of Kalifornia (irradiated flower), 30ml oil (ingesting) and a vape cartridge.
The flower did not have any smell or taste but it was quite potent. Oil has been tried a few times and it is a good medicine for 3-4 hours but after that I crash, I have to sleep for a few hours. I am new to vape cartridges and I was pleased with it until I found out it contains ‘botanical terpenes’ . I would like more natural cannabis … non irradiated, no added anything. I do not know if you guys understand me.
I had to wait a few days to see if I would be accepted by a panel of professionals and waited another day to get my first prescription that cost me £395 and I cannot afford that every month.
As I mentioned above I just had my follow up appointment with the same doctor as I had the first appointment and I raised my concerns about not getting what I wanted and how I could get what I want. The doctor said straight to me that this is medical cannabis and not recreational cannabis and she will prescribe what she thinks is good for me and she was quite pushy for things I did not want as well .I do not have my repeat prescription yet so I do know what I am getting.
What I do not understand, I was prescribed CBPM and why I can not pick what I want. Some months I can afford the cheap one and maybe on my birthday I can afford a treat. I would like to have more flexibility and easier access to my medicine. Perhaps try a different clinic.

You are going to find your way around MC, not every is great and fantastic. However, it is safer, more reliable, hassle free and legal if you are in UK, Work, driving (not impaired) , housing etc ..
And, as many commented there is a wide variety of flowers, vapes, oils and the beginning can be quite overwhelming by choices.
Not all brands are the same, cultivation, drying and iradiated/non irradiated. I have tried a few so far, but I keep going back to Apples and Gas BC green, it hits differently.
I am happy with the system and I am a supporter.
