Resorted to a small dose of ahem RRRso last night, out like a light, but its mighty thick and strong, so I treat it like zirconium encrusted gold resulting in near 7 hrs sleep with 32 mins deep sleep. Miracle from a plant.

Told her straight any agro or bullshit off her in future and I'll feng shui her neck with these pissing acupuncture needles keep her quiet Mad isn't it mate I genuinely had no idea they rely on us carers so much to do such things, I mean it's a good thing as it takes pressure off the NHS and she's willing to give it a go but she's literally jumping through the hoops they set out before she gets to the spinal surgery stage.As a carer for my wife they expected me do her injections with past treatments and her current one...
Mate I'd encourage you to be proactive and see what can be done with PALS as my wife had to jump through all the hoops for years and as a result in her case had poorly controlled disease activity and a multitude of side effects that dramatically reduced quality of life but IMO this should be of been accessed a lot earlier as the hoops she had to jump through were for the treatment she is on now (only been on it for the last 8 months ) and if she had of had this 10 years ago things could of been very different and would of avoided a lot of pain and I know your wish is for surgery so lets hope common sense prevails sooner rather than later

Contemplating contacting PALS because we know the options available to her, dont see why her quality of life should suffer even further in the mean time because the NHS feel like they want to try everything else under the sun, don't think any of them realise it's an abnormal length bone at the bottom of her spine that's interfering with her spinal nerve, there's no amount of pain killers, steroid injections or acupuncture that is going to long term solve the issue, and with it being degenerative as well it feels like the clock is ticking she's 37 years old there's already so much she can't do with our kids and her condition is only getting worse... Frustrating having spent well over 7 hours in the place.
For me it's even more fun. They gave me a syringe, a needle and a bunch of vials. if I have an accident i'm supposed to assemble this get up, put saline from the vial into the other one, shake, draw it up and inject it into myself. When they gave it me, I told them there was no possible way i could do that, being needle phobic and absolutely struggling to use an epipen (where you can't see the needle). I carry tablet versions of all of them. i can do the epipen at a push, but I have to be literally on deaths door to do it. The other one, not a chance.
