Try their Afghan Bullrider, perhaps?

GS OGKB = Decent
Tilray too.
I can't lie.. I was a big lover of the tilray.. i found i was always pleasantly surprised with them and had consistent batches in comparison to other brands.

I was a huge fan of the gsr strains and then come to find out they are also tilray. Honestly I dunno why tilray got so much hate. Sure they had a few strains I wouldn't get again but the rest was decent I thought.

The ogkb I have found great. I've got probably 70g of it unopened as well as what's opened still but happy to stock up while there's something decent I like at a cheap price.

Should try some of this Durban gorilla really I guess.

I prefer it to OGKB. That didn’t do much for me at all.
Good to know . I really like the ogkb, nice taste and good effects for me. I mainly use for Asperger's and it is great for slowing my brain down a bit. Lol.

Might have to try this one for comparison.

There must be a reason for the hate for Tilray, similar to GROW
Honestly, I think people like to hate at anything cheap.. some people are under the impression top price means top shelf which in my experience really isn't the case.

I'd take 20g of ogkb over 10g of 'top shelf' top price anyday of the week. The extra price is rarely worth it for me.

Good to know. Thanks. Will have to consider them when I put a script in next.

I've had loads this month already so probably pushing my luck to try for the Durban gorilla until another week has passed. Tempted to try just to see if I get any 😂

I cannot cope running out
I'm the same. In stocked up with pave34 and ogkb the last few months.. I've still got some strains from last year i haven't finished aswell.. rather be stocked up so I don't need to order stuff I don't really want at silly prices for average weed.

It’s a decent vape. Muted on opening but a nice strong chill effect.
That's pretty much what the reviewer on that website said. Heavy chill factor, heavy forehead feeling, climb into bed an hour or two later and game over. I don't need that right now. :)

Not the best pics in the world but here is the Durban Gorilla.

It's some quite small buds but not micro smalls like I've had with other stuff.. it's got a familiar smell to it and I can't decide if it's the gorilla kush it reminds me of smell wise. Got a bit of a cherry tunes vibe to my nose. It's quite subtle though and not a stinky one.

As someone else said, it is dry but honestly that's not such a problem for me.

There isn't a huge amount of flavour but it's got a nice familiar slightly lingering taste. Can't really put my finger on what it reminds me of but I've only tried a little so far having just received it.

The effects are defo there but again I've just received it and often a new strain can have that effect. I've been getting the ogkb lately and given the choice of initial impressions I'd probably stick to the ogkb but honestly this one is quite nice and I'd get probably get it again. I've not had an IPS strain for a while now as they were limited with the safricanna strains which I preferred and the prices I thought were a bit high for what they were. Can't argue with this one though at £37.50 a pack.

The more I'm sat here writing this, the more I got a nice fruity waft coming to my nose and the heavier my eyes are getting. Lol.

I have Asperger's so strains that can slow my brain down a bit are ideal for me. They bring me down from the clouds a bit so I'm not so overactive in the brain and can settle and focus better. This strain I can see being a good one for me.

Overall I'm happy I got some to try and good to have some more lower priced options available. I've certainly had far worse for far more money.

Reassuring to hear that this has not left you feeling disappointed and reading your review of the effects then I'm sure many of us would find this useful so it's a looks a bargain really or priced well at least.

I am liking it so far for sure. Much prefer it to the gorilla kush I had from bnm. That had more of a high before the mellow where as I've had some of Durban gorilla and it just chilled me right out. I can be pretty anxious with over stimulation of senses and this put me in a comfortable place nice and quickly. Feeling nice and chilled.

It would be great to get a bit more info on the genetics because although you can find the strain elsewhere, it's nice to get this plants genetics from the manufacturer.

Anyway it is great to see some strains coming at a better price point because how it was before with the IPS prices, it wasn't worth taking the risk to end up with a load of rubbish.

I noticed the blunicorn is back under a £5 now. That's always a good shout aswell. Enjoyed that one a lot on previous batches.

Looking at the strains for the BNM stuff, it seems a lot of Hybrids crossing strong Sativa and Indica strains. I am not surprised if they come with a high kick. i always thought crossing Indicas and Sativas was kind of crazy. I much prefer pure Indica or Indica d0minant Hybrids and the opposite for day strains, that is aside from terpene profiles. Also a lighter THC level for the day strain and slightly higher for the night, but that isn't set in stone.

Like you I'm an aspy, but with a likely twist of ADD on top. Although my one appointment for the ADD came back inconclusive and the guy said he would be leaning more into the ASD causing the symptoms. I'll probably pay for a reassessment down the line, not that i'm jonesing for medication for it, I think MC is more than adequate, I just want someone else to offer consensus.

I don't know what i will get next month, but i've had two night strains now in a row, so maybe time to find a Sativa Hybrid for the next one.

Have you tried the (apparently unethical) Together Pharmacy GMO Cookies? Even though it isn't quite as (THC) strong as some others, it makes really good edibles and for me anyway, is a good strain for day or night, but you can override the need to sleep pretty easily. But if/when you decarb, have ventilation, as whichever room you do it in will smell like heavily spicy, citrusy cannabis for a day or two after (but taking a few lungfuls of the vapour is very nice).

Because they are a listed company and should be making a bit more effort, but seem to be stereotypical stoners and don't. They don't always create the best products and they've been around a while.

I have no problem with them personally and I hold a few of their shares, that will likely never make me any money, but I see it as contributing a small amount to keeping the industry afloat.

Indica/Sativa = same plant technically different environments.
Yet completely different effects.

Take a direct comparison between Delahaze and LA Confidential. One a pure Sativa and one a pure Indica.

Delahaze was like speed for me, proper head messing if you didn't occupy your time with something complex and super easy to head into a negative head space. i don't think this just came down to terpenes. It was madly speedy, but absolutely brilliant as a day strain. I did manage to whitey on it after hitting up a crazy session while rebuilding my camper van (and vaping way too much).

Kind of like the occasional landrace strains i've come across in the past that were pure Sativa (had a South African housemate some years back that brought back seeds for Durban poison, Pulled from a plant in the hills near his family home, near Durban and after they were grown that stuff was clean but very crazy weed).

La Confidential, on the other hand, was very calming and a perfect chill out and allowed for not really thinking too hard. It was a mellow bud.

I once upon a time came across Hindu Kush, grown from seeds procured from the roadside in the Stans, off the top of my head it was somewhere on the Pakistan/Afghani border. This was long ago back in the 90's, from a guy fleeing the tail end of the Afghan / Russian war. Apparently a border guard on the Afghan side told him to line his pockets with as much seed as possible because it could be traded over here (and he was right). Some of those ended up in Amsterdam and at some seed place in London. It wouldn't surprise me if the Khiron stuff came from that lineage, but they may also have just sent someone to the stans to get some seeds as it literally grows wild next to the road in most places up that way.

I was sat last night having some Durban Gorilla and it suddenly clicked that it was either the black cherry punch or the grape galena it reminds me of.. more likely the black cherry punch. I had the gorilla kush in my head for some reason, maybe coz of the name..

But yea this one reminds me of the safricanna BCP or GG.

I hope it's not a case that we are just getting something renamed and then not showing us the genetics or producer of the flower because that would be a bit silly. The only reason I mention this is iOS once told me that their IPS strains were safricanna strains just renamed but when I questioned this they were very vague and didn't really elaborate.

I was a huge fan of the safricanna flowers I've had and BCP was probably my favourite of the ones I tried followed by blunicorn. It would be great to know where this one is grown and what it's parents are.

Had a good day and night on the Durban Gorilla yesterday and plan to do the same today 😂.
