Because they are a listed company and should be making a bit more effort, but seem to be stereotypical stoners and don't. They don't always create the best products and they've been around a while.
I have no problem with them personally and I hold a few of their shares, that will likely never make me any money, but I see it as contributing a small amount to keeping the industry afloat.

Yet completely different effects.
Take a direct comparison between Delahaze and LA Confidential. One a pure Sativa and one a pure Indica.
Delahaze was like speed for me, proper head messing if you didn't occupy your time with something complex and super easy to head into a negative head space. i don't think this just came down to terpenes. It was madly speedy, but absolutely brilliant as a day strain. I did manage to whitey on it after hitting up a crazy session while rebuilding my camper van (and vaping way too much).
Kind of like the occasional landrace strains i've come across in the past that were pure Sativa (had a South African housemate some years back that brought back seeds for Durban poison, Pulled from a plant in the hills near his family home, near Durban and after they were grown that stuff was clean but very crazy weed).
La Confidential, on the other hand, was very calming and a perfect chill out and allowed for not really thinking too hard. It was a mellow bud.
I once upon a time came across Hindu Kush, grown from seeds procured from the roadside in the Stans, off the top of my head it was somewhere on the Pakistan/Afghani border. This was long ago back in the 90's, from a guy fleeing the tail end of the Afghan / Russian war. Apparently a border guard on the Afghan side told him to line his pockets with as much seed as possible because it could be traded over here (and he was right). Some of those ended up in Amsterdam and at some seed place in London. It wouldn't surprise me if the Khiron stuff came from that lineage, but they may also have just sent someone to the stans to get some seeds as it literally grows wild next to the road in most places up that way.
This looks and smells lovely, dry but not overly so. Smell hits right out of the bag, citrus, chem and pine for me.
Not 100% sure on the lineage - some sites report ethos glue (gg4) x mimosa, and I'm definitely getting some orange. Absolutely caked in trichomes, loads of resin with some amber heads. Smallish buds, a few over a gram but mainly smalls with a small amount of shake. Light green, and I repeat, absolutely dripping in resin. Dry like most MC but it has some give, not turning to dust. Kind of lazy trim job but for £3.75g I can't complain.
Will report back on taste and effects once I've had some time with it .

Nice pics. Ye I've been liking this one a lot. Got some of the cherry mints aswell which isn't as nice. It does seem to be improving with a boveda though. It was defo over dry and I usually ain't that bothered about it being on the drier side.
This Lyphe is dry for instance but far nicer than the cm.

The cherry mints has come back to life a bit to be honest JD I've not minded it today. Yesterday it was tasting like a burnt ashtray where as today it's got a bit of funkiness. Boveda deffo helped.
So I finally got around to making a batch of flapjack with this and whoa it is very sedating, to say i used a small amount. I had a piece and four hours later I had to sleep. There was no ability to push through like i can on the Tripoli or LA Conf. So this makes this a pure night strain for me. It has no use in the day as it forces me to sleep. Also the dreams were interesting and it had a very different feel to the lighter Indicas I normally use, not an overly good one. The next morning was pretty groggy.
On a lighter note, I can recommend adding a spoon of lemon curd to flapjack if you want a slightly yummier taste.
So will I get it again, probably not. I find it too heavy duty for my needs. But it would definitely suit someone who craves that knockout feeling.
So of the cheap IPS strains I've had recently I'd say the Durban Gorilla is the nicest smelling and tasting of the 3 and has good effects for my needs. It's a nice relaxing strain for me without being too couch locky. It's got the smaller buds compared to cherry mints and permanent chimera but deffo the better smell and taste for me. I've had 5 packs of it now and have had no larger buds. All pretty small but honestly it's not an issue for me with this as I find it very nice. Pretty sure it's the grape galena it reminds me of with a hint of black cherry punch.

I had some when it first got reduced and then it went OOS and came back in again at IPS so with any luck it will come back in again. Expires 26/6/26 the one I've got so hopefully there's still some to come.
