Intros "Ask Anything" with Tim Henley, MedBud Director (New Series Upcoming)

Hi Tim I am really struggling with the pricing of medication and struggle to get the right ones as I can’t afford them due to being unable to work

Also I would like to say that it is very expensive to find replacements as well. When we don’t know what we are getting really and need 5g packets to save money
First video answer released, more to follow shortly. Thanks for the question @JR52.

The first video of a new series answering questions from the forum community. We have several more answers filmed, and will do our best to release them every few days this month.

8.5/10 on 1st impressions lol
We're still getting the process nailed down between myself and @Tim Henley to shoot, upload, edit and publish videos between us. @OldBloke joined us recently who has decades of experience in TV production, we're hoping he can help guide us - as well as @TheGreenAvenger who's going to going to help build up our social media media presence over the coming weeks, as we start to put together a regular publishing schedule.

A good few more answers to publish already, hopefully we can improve on that 8.5 rating over time – I think it sounds like a solid start! 😁

I've adjusted the rating accordingly

Maybe the NHS could look at the meds that you dont take since going on CBPMS , For me personally alot of anti seizure , anxiety , headache meds that would at least offset cost efficiency of CBPMS never mind less hospital and GP appointments, now that cost efficiency is directly related to using CBPMS. I have saved the NHS a fortune dropping meds but put in a cycle its hard to get out of, cant afford it but cant afford not to. 2 tier system for those that can afford it. We NEED the german model or fighters that can get GYO over the line. Sympathise with ye jr52 as i am in same boat as others are here. Its better to make real change than profit.

Thanks to everyone involved at MedBud for putting this together. I look forward to seeing more content.

The idea of citizen science is interesting (& challenging) patients inputting the necessary data to help each other understand our medicine better. I hope you will be considering collaboration with researchers as it would be a valuable source of data for patients.

5⭐

I know where your coming from there dropping meds for CBPM, there are thousands of us that have done this with no financial help from anywhere.

The cost efficiency has to be weighed up in up in this regard and took into consideration in any future talks regarding NHS CBPM. Some financial help took away when living better with CBPM.

The industry dont like to hear the people on benefits struggling but it should be number 1 issue by FAR. Financial burden will turn into mental illness big style!!

Agreed that it puts a hell of a lot of stress on our finances which in turn can have a negative effect on one's health. I would like to stop all my opiates for my conditions and replace them completely with CBPM's, finances prevents that. I think, if there was some help towards the extra costs it would help a lot of people for sure.

100% doobs and there should be support for patients who are willing to do so as its a big step to take. NHS looking at it with blinkers on. On a whole lets just say theres a little bit of profit in this canna game regardless of margins , access project and free clinic fees are welcome but its nothing compared to the pricing and absolute f*ckery that goes on for customers. Gofundme from every clinic n pharmacy lol . Happy clapping positivity will not change this and dont care how many middle class podcasts there is with clinics ! Little rant soz MedBud but at least theres serious growth within the industry.

No patient left behind , all use is medical. Thats why i said its a 2 tier system for all those who cant afford it fair play but to those who cant there needs to be help but from where , looking like some activism and gyo for everyone at all costs or it has to come from top down. German model only option imo. Theres no need for the greed. Illegaly healed v legal financially destitute is what i see for a few patients. Cant afford to but cant afford not to!

Second answer video released, thanks to @Delta 9 and @Dooby Doo, more to follow!

I kind of had to. Years back I had some cannabis that was giving me weird issues, like a choking sensation and I broached the subject with the immunology consultant I was under. She wasn't anti drugs per se and she said not to look at the cannabis, but to look at other plants related to it. So when i did I saw Almond was a relation.

My allergies at one point were so out of control that i actually sat down and worked out everything I was allergic to and then started breaking it down further to work out what they had in common chemically. In the end it came down to terpenes and oleic acid. it seems anything containing more than 28% oleic acid will give me a reaction. My worst reaction to date was olive oil which has 60-80% oleic acid and peanuts come in at around 60%. Both are hospital level anaphylaxis with a lot of epipen usage. Olives also contain terpenes including geraniol.
Thank you for raising a very important issue, either a legally enforced, independant checking agency, with powers over the industry and or use of forums such as this ,if people had somewhere to find accurate up to date information that would be very useful.
Thank you.
Cheaper drugs now.

Hi,when trying to chose from the large options, for which I am grateful,I struggle to try to find reasonably fresh products. At point of purchase it would be helpful to have access to the expiry date.It appears, according to many of the very helpful and informative videos done by fellow users, thank you, that people open the sealed packets as soon as they arrive, doesnt this mean the deterioation of the product occurs faster. If we had access to the expiry date at point of purchase then market forces would lead to fresher products.
