That's it and after the £250 in effect it probably pays for itself going forward but for me as an unpaid carer it was a massive amount and I literally had to borrow it but so glad I did because my mental health improved for it and all round feelgood factor .
I'm putting in a formal complaint with Montu. Over the past few months I have had to request rewrites. This has got worse recently. The issue is this. When Montu receive a script they allocate the meds to the 'My Medication' page on their webshop. However, they do not 'allocate' the meds to you which often results in you going to pay for your meds but they are no longer available to order. This has now caught me out with my recent script despite getting half of it sent to IPS. I had 30g of Canopy Growth® Kush Mints on my script but within two days of it hitting my medication page it has sold out.
I've tried to address this 2-3 times and was initially told they were hoping to address this soon however, this has not happened and in subsequent email comms with them they don't even state this, now you just get a copy/paste response.
I just don't understand why the meds are not just allocated to you instead they seem to prefer to sell your meds to someone else. I've spoken to them today, unfortunately the guy on the phone was new and didn't know what to do. I have requested this be elevated to a formal complaint. If it's not addressed I'll be changing clinics.
Just wanted to ask...is this the same at other clinics or do they actually reserve your meds until you pay for it?
I have experienced the same thing where it sells out before I can order three times already it because it takes them so long to send the prescription and it's never processed before 15:30 where they say you can then order for *guaranteed next day pre 1pm delivery

I've literally just finished reading a post on the sub Reddit where a few people have claimed that if you complain and ring them, you can get your payment link within hours of ringing them.
Just goes to show they can do things properly when there's someone holding them to account. Obviously they can't do this for everyone but if you're seeing it reoccur it may be worth ruffling some feathers.
By the time script gets to pharmacy, one of them is out of stock, so she pays for the first one (after 3:30pm delivery cut-off)
Next morning, other cart is back, so she pays for this too - but including £9!!!!! delivery
They are both coming today
'Oh we're struggling to cope so you can pay more for no reason'
What's the answer? Do you have to wait for all the stars to align on your script before paying for anything in case they sting you with delivery fees? What if by the time the missing item comes in another item goes out?

I reckon if you complained they would have given you a free code, that said - you shouldn't need to go through any hassle if they communicated things better.
I really do think they should add restocking ETAs to their OOS/NNR listings. I am constantly trying to figure out whether I should order something on NNR or OOS in the hope it arrives back in vs going for a rewrite.
I haven't looked at Montu's stock in a couple of weeks so I thought I would see how it's looking and YIKES!
Focusing on every strain under £8pg (I assume under £8 is a target for most people from what I read) gives us 105 different strains.
From those 105 strains on Montu under £80 -
5 are coming soon
16 are sold out
41 are no new request
43 are available
Call me old fashioned but at what point are you no longer a pharmacy and just an empty warehouse? 59% of your stock being unavaiable to patients is unbelievable to me.
It's time for my weekly moan about Montu Stock levels.
I have a review tomorrow and it looks like I'm sending it all to IPS.
Montu have 140 strains in stock. - 66/140 or 47% Strains are on NNR.
If we remove all of Montu's own branded flower ( Upstate, Curo and Craft Botanics) then there is 106 total strains available.
60/106 or 62% are NNR.
In the lower tiers (<£70) there is 60 strains and 33/60 or 55% are NNR.
In the mid tiers (£71-£80) there is 33 strains and 12/33 or 36% are NNR
In the upper tiers (£81+) there is 49 strains and 23/49 or 47% are NNR.
So whilst Montu may claim to have 140 strains in stock, the real figure is actually 68 strains in stock.
We're now in to month 3 of Montu's stock being horrific with no signs of it letting up. They've recently claimed that the stock levels are out of their control and are to do with supply chain disruptions yet Montu are the only pharmacy having problems on this scale.
I think it's pretty obvious how badly they've misjudged the landscape in 2025 and I am extremely concerned for the months ahead.
In my opinion they need to make some kind of statement and acknowledgement of the state of the situation. They need to assure patients that they can still be relied upon.
