Flower 1 Nug or 2?

Gotta say ive been testing this more and more recently. I swear down blind you get a better all round experience when you grind 2 or more nugs compared to one

if the nugs are massive, even take a bit off of 2 of em

Could make sense theoretically, cannabis grows different ratios and amounts of terpenes and cannabinoids in different parts of its buds.

If you sample different buds to produce a bowl, you're averaging across the flower, so you get a more average experience. If you want full consistency, grind your entire batch as soon as you get it lol, and you're getting closer to the terpene profile/%s they measured in the lab which was also produced from analysing and averaging various samples.

yeah its by far a better experience, so much so, i had a single nug from some bags and thought it was pretty pants.

grind a few up together and like i say the experience is vastly improved. just wondered if others did this, even if a lower end consumer?

I mean, I would suggest if you get that result EVERY time then it's placebo effect. My theory on it being based on averaging the terpene profile across the flower would predict that you've also occasionally find parts of the plant that are way, way more enjoyable than average.
