It only arrived yesterday, and I gave the spotlight to the others first—but now it’s UNV’s turn.
First thing that hits you is the grapefruit citrus smell. Get your nose in there like you're about to swirl and sip a fine wine—or at least pretend you know how to. Bright, zesty, and surprisingly punchy for a budget strain. Turns out this one’s also known as Grape L.A, and the name really does suit it.
Taste-wise, as I’ve said before, a lot of strains end up tasting like green smoothies in my XMAX V3 Pro—and this one’s no different. That said, I do pick up a faint citrus note alongside the leafy flavour. It’s subtle, but it’s there. And yes, I fully admit to sniffing the bag mid-vape just to trick my brain into completing the flavour experience—no judgement!
Effects:
Gentle and mellow. No couch-lock, no mental fog—just smooth, balanced clarity. It doesn’t give me that deep tingly body relief some strains do, but it’s brilliant for mental calm and not slowing you down. My energy’s already non-existent thanks to long-term sleep deprivation, but this didn’t drag me down any further, so I count that as a win.
Nug Size:
Small—but I honestly prefer that. Bigger buds usually come with hidden stalks, and I’d rather just get straight to the vapeable goodness. I’ve popped my dosing capsule in the photos to show the scale—it gives you a good idea of what to expect.
---
Final Verdict:
For £5/g, this is a solid all-rounder. Lovely smell, smooth mellow effects, and no drama. It’s not the strongest or most flavourful strain I’ve had, but it’s dependable, affordable, and genuinely helpful—especially for daytime clarity or topping up calmly through the day.
Would I recommend it?
Absolutely. Might not blow your socks off, but it’ll definitely keep your head on straight.
