Clinics Alternaleaf Clinic

But it probably should be limited on some mental health conditions and probably age too

I agree, as much as MC has helped of our lives 10-fold, I think the psychosis and brain development links in younger people are still really concerning.

I'm one of the few who would campaign for a 25+ age restriction on recreational cannabis to be completely honest. Appreciate it's not a popular take though.

I completely agree coming from a mental health background ive spent lots of time with young people suffering from psychosis and almost always under 25 with heavy cannabis use, maybe self medicating but if you actually witness someone having a psychotic episode you would be shocked and totally understand why it's an instant no for medical

And one more point, most of the more liberal clinics haven't had CQC inspections so thing may well tighten up post inspections, although some CQC inspections are a total joke anyway

I dont think you will find 1 who just used THC , I think a big big mistake can be made is saying a 17 22 or even just under the 25% limit say 24% is not going to limit the effects of terpinolene and way overlooked , alot of these kids are flavour chasers and i bet a few has had some heavy experiences due to the profile of the strain rather than the THC % , society itself and social media is a mental illness in my view , kids have weight of world on shoulders.

Sativa profiles having the worst effects but i would like to see a study to say 25% is alot safer than 26%. For me old skunk ester thiol had more of an impact 15-17% skunk 1 . so wtf happened there is 25% alot safer than so called skunk weed lol.

cheese humelene can have serious effects on ppl just like thiol skunk did but to concentrate on just THC is nuts in my experience.

Terpinolene franky haze is another type of profile that can have serious effects with certain ppl and trainwreck also is defo not for everybody.

THC itself can have very adverse effects on some ppl but far too much variables at play to say 25% is ok for your brain regardless of terpenes and flavourants but just my opinion.

Yup I dont think THC is the culprit , I know for sure that if I touch anything to Sativa leaning in going to feel jittery and uncomfortable, im of an age where everything was hash , flower was virtually non existent and certainly not as effective as a good old lump of red seal or Temple ball

Now if we had hash on the med market that would a thing , Myrcene alot different to hashishene even though it it came from it. We cant cure cannabis like hash and would have a better effect for youngsters but they want flavours not high THC boring profile hash. Temple ball was 1 of my favs

I can't say that's been my experience, they offer a call back service so I don't think I've ever been on hold.

That said, it doesn't invalidate or excuse shitty patient experiences and I think they do need to massively improve their overall availability.

The availability is shit right now, a lot of budget conscious patients fled there and they clearly didn't read the room and stock up on budget friendly flower. You can order from IPS although this does add extra days for the processing of your script.

My honest assessment on it is that I'm paying the lowest if not one of the lowest annual fees in the industry so as much as I would love perfect service I am certainly expecting minimum effort.

Whether that should be the case is a whole different conversation but I think it's the potential
unfortunate reality.

I've had this one

when it was £85/90 - overpriced then but at £65 it might suit many - it was good quality bud IIRC and a good daytime, for me.

This is another that should be a fantastic daytime.

Is it true that with Alternaleaf you can have up to 100g a month as standard?

Or did my wife just get the 'cool' doctor 😆

This was not true

Turned out wife had Dr. Billy Bullshit on the first appointment

It was actually 20g and 60ml of oil - which sounds more like it for newbie - confirmed in the first follow-up

Thought it was a bit wild wild west

Thats terrible + that might put users straight back onto BM.

You can get more flower than that if no oil I think? My first script was 50g equivalent, 30g flower and 2 x 0.5 carts back when 1ml=20g with a 60g allowance thereafter.

She hasn't been using much, so it's probably going to be an ok limit for her, and she's not one to ask questions if that makes sense so not exactly sure

I feel you mate but good to hear it should be ok for her. If it's any reassurance though, when I asked about allowances, it seemed they have a vague interest to lower where possible, but requests to increase would be met with little friction 🙏🔥
