Hiya, just wondered if anyone has used a personal smoke filter, eg Smokebuddy? For those who have no clue about what i am speaking about, sadly it is not an imaginary smoking buddy friend to accompany you outside to have a smoke? Its a sort of rubber-looking 'cup' thingy that you blow your vapour into and they are supposed to filter the smell out. I do have some times when it would be useful to have something that takes away the smell, but i have read mixed reviews on them?
Thanks

I've seen Smacksalad use them in cafe's and places like that and I'm sure they would be beneficial in certain situations (y)

I made my own years and years ago and still use it sometimes.

I just used 30cm tall tubular metal container (stored incense sticks at one time) punched some holes in the base. Then take one of those flat replacement charcoal cooker filter panels (£7 quid from Amazon). Roll it up so it fits tight in the tube.
Then blow your vapor using the top of the tube through the charcoal and it comes out of the holes created earlier.
Change the filter when its stops working. Cheap, easy to maintain and once I put the cap back over the top it just looks like a tube of incense sticks.

I am sure the filter would be better with activated charcoal pellets packed in a tube but the filter panels definitely reduce the smell and they are easy to source.

They're utter shit. If you want something like that get a von Sploof. A little more expensive but a far, far superior product with replaceable filters.
