YouTube Big drop off in Youtube Medical Reviews.

There was quite a big drop-off in YouTube reviews last month, around 25-33% less posted than the three months prior.

I feel like 2025 saw a wave of new YouTubers who were more concerned with reviewing the flavour of the month than anything else.

I wonder if the slight drop off has anything to do with the majority of hype strains peaking in the last 6-8 weeks and these hype strains tend to be shitting the bed frequently.

All the DoE, Cookies nonsense that people get obsessed with. Don't get me wrong it all has it's place and I'm glad people are reviewing it but it seems to be at the expense of lesser reputable options.

There was also a lot of channels/social media accounts being reported so this would of deterred reviewers from making reviews as no one gets to see them or they are restricted in some ways but hopefully we are seeing some get going again and one or two starting off in their journeys.

That's interesting, I never knew that a few had received reports, that's a shame.

I know a lot of it is age restricted which does make sense but it's already hard enough to find so that doesn't help anyone does it.

You do a fantastic job of curating the reviews together here, so I'm hoping that plays a part in getting people to do this more often. Even if the views aren't high I hope they all understand the value they provide.

I applaud all their efforts in trying to share their findings with us and not being the most technically gifted myself I imagine its quite an effort for some to do this on a regular basis for us so the least we can do as MedBud is provide coverage impartially as ultimately it helps others .
