The clinic provides mental health assessments for people interested in a trial of a Cannabis-Based Medicinal Product (CBMP).

Cannabis Clinic Cardiff (CCC) is a patient-centred, clinician-led Private Medical Clinic.

Patients can self-refer to the clinic for a FREE eligibility assessment. An initial appointment with a Specialist Consultant will follow, assessing symptoms and medical history to determine your suitability for having a trial of a CBMP.

There is no guarantee that an initial appointment will result in a prescription of a CBMP and any prescribed product will be determined as appropriate following discussion with the prescriber.

At present, CBMPs can only be prescribed for a limited range of conditions and for patients who meet minimum eligibility criteria.

If you are unsure if this applies to your situation, please get in touch and we can answer any questions you have.

Having reading a couple of peoples experience of the CCC I thought I'd look into it.
At first appearance it looks expensive ,but when I broke it down it didn't look so expensive after all.

As the £33/month can quite easily be negated with the Grow Access Project discounts that aren't available at many other clinics.

Also there's various oils available at usually £5 discount, so in effect after paying your initial joining consultation, you could easily break even or even save a few quids if you use a lot of Grow Access Project products.

I like the sound of this clinic too...except the price.

- Can the monthly prices change at anytime?
- Can any of you patients ask about the weekend availability pls?
- How much does year 2 cost?

Also if we getting into the dirty details then what happens if you send multiple scripts to Montu - do they charge you £9 extra each time? If so that delivery cost or any other pharmacies delivery costs should be factored in.

Thing is with me I got at it with what I think is best for me plus a little scope and explain my reasoning but I also know I can get in touch anytime if anything needs adjusting or my needs change and you really can tell it's patient led and focussed and it is more a case of how are you and how's the family approach as you have the time to expand conversations as you are unhurried whilst conveying what you need to .👌
Sounds like a sales pitch to me. Yes you can get in touch anytime - I can with any clinic via email. I'm burning the midnight oil tonight - so wouldn't expect a response from anyone in the UK...however a super premium service above Cannabis Clinic Cardiff could offer this like a conceirge. Expect £50+/month sub to cover this with guaranteed MedBud prices. Think the personal shopper market people who don't flinch at apple prices lets say. Many of the contractors I worked with were like that. Ultra time poor - happy to pay for service/high availability and in this er game then its about the strains and if your chasing the latest + greatest and 1-3months meds cost is fine then great.
Anyway ultimately G. and @Muiredach let me be 100% clear and offer you full transparency here:
It doesn't matter to me clinic X or clinic y, whos the bestest and other commercial entities I interact with in MC - as long as

a)they deliver the meds I want
b)minimal exposure to their "medical"/legal stuff
c)they deliver free next day guaranteed (mon-sat deliveries with royal mail, option for Sunday at extra cost)
d)I'm given MedBud prices

None of the clinics can do this 24/7 currently but the Black Market can. Food for thought.

Added numbers to your comment quote for ease of responding:

1. I checked everything carefully on sign-up - it doesn't have any contract language which would stop them raising prices that I could see
2. They don't work at weekends AFAIK
3. £33.33/m, so £400/y basically
4. Sending separate scripts, not necessarily if they arrive around the same time and end up with one delivery, but if it results in separate deliveries then yes you will pay the specific pharmacy delivery fee - I avoid this each month by cycling around the pharmacies, and using Newgrove possibly more than others due to their free delivery policy

FWIW here's the costings of the most popular clinics over 1 and 3 years including repeat fees, delivery fees, etc. The data is about 6 months old but its not a bad yard stick to compare USPs across various budget and premium clinics. It's not every clinic and doesn't include Cannabis Clinic Cardiff or CB1 Medical among others.

Don't use the info in the attached PDF for anything other than getting a general idea of overall clinic pricing.

Some of the data included is already known to be out of date and I would encourage anyone looking to sign up at a clinic to do far more costings research than I have provided below.

Definitely Curaleaf and Integro have come down a bit since then as I'm sure Curaleaf is £10/month now and Integro the prescription fee has dropped £20 a month so £240/year less but people will see this underneath (y)

Yeah I know some costs have changed a little, I think I put that together at the start of the year when I was trying to figure out if Wellfords was considered expensive.

I'll edit my comment to mention the pricing, I don't want anyone making decisions based off of the data in there. It's just for observation and generalisation purposes.

Appreciated thank you.
You see this is where I would really love to hear industry peeps - Phoenician clinics like Cura etc are highly likely negotiating with either Amazon or an amazon like logistics company for the volume they see in the future... which looks a lot to me like they are aiming for same day delivery. Should the other clinics take notice? They'd be doomed not to...

Oh that’s a shame. I was considering Cannabis Clinic Cardiff but am also a pain patient 🙃 thanks for the info folks 🙏
It's a grey area and my wife is a pain patient on appearance but has always been prescribed MH drugs alongside and in fact before her pain medicines so I reckon that is a case that possibly would qualify .

Fingers crossed she gets accepted no problem then if you guys decide to go that route 🙏. I think it's a non starter for me personally though which is a shame as I like the sound of the clinic and I'm getting a bit fed up with Alternaleaf. On paper alternaleaf and Montu should be absolutely mint, but when you combine how slow alternaleaf can be at processing repeat requests with the stock volatility of Montu it's a recipe for disaster.

You never know mate as they expand they could move into treating other symptoms and not just MH 🙏

I hope so. I would love to be with a clinic that feels like it really cares about me and my health rather than just seeing me as a cow to milk cash from in the most efficient way possible.

Just joined the clinic after being ignored for about 2~ weeks by Alternaleaf, amazing first experiences here. Snappy communication is important to me and here I totally got it so far.

Although my fresh application/portal access does not work for now. Looks like I am already registered, as it's asking for a password, but I have never set one up, and I can't register neither use the "forgotten password".

But I am sure they will sort that out on Monday for me, then I can look into my first order.

Welcome @GreenRed and congratulations on your transfer to Cannabis Clinic Cardiff and they really are great to be a patient with IME and have enhanced my medical journey for certain and there responses to be problems should they arise is spot on an prompt which was lacking at my last clinic and also add this to being able to use any pharmacy and multiple prescriptions as and when needed with in your limits can pay dividends too by being able to obtain suitable discounted meds when they appear .

Hope everything gets sorted out on Monday for you 🙏
