Clinics CB1 Alternate pharmacy "process"

These are the steps provided by the COO of CB1 Medical, had to request 3 times before receivig the below, which is still incomplete/inaccurate but figured I'd share and people can share their updates for anyone that wants to stick with CB1...

1. Request your prescription

2. advise if you want it to go to another pharmacy

3. we will send a postage payment link

4. once postage is paid, we will post to preferred pharmacy
 
First point of note (that the person who wrote that shared only an hour earlier today) is that you need to state which postage service you want them to use "There is a charge for postage to another pharmacy from £2.96 next day tracked (not guaranteed) £5.82 next day by 1pm guaranteed delivery."

Just a quick update, memory kicked in and I recalled there is a link to download physical prescription copy, there is an upload option on Newgrove so will chance my arm and see if uploading that triggers invoice etc or if they still need physical copy posting. In which case I'm still in purgatory as not once has the rep from CB1 Medical actually asked how I want my script posting and now that it is submitted there is no option to add notes.... to be honest I CBA even sending another email explaining this, then getting some trite response sending my anxiety and stress levels through the roof.

Little sister just found out she can get it free in Germany without even using her insurance company, told me get my ass over there, may have to take a serious look.

Has to be physical thats why I've been all over asking about the electronic script, but thats stalled.
 
Follow up email this morning trying to address some of the gaps in the above and move the goalposts two metres to the right. Revised process below, I have asked if payments is still to CB1 Medical at CB1 rates, even if they issue refunds I am not happy with them sitting on my money for a week or so every order.....



1. Request your medications as normal.

2. If the medication is not in stock then please call or email to request them.

3. Contact CB1 medical/pharmacy via email requesting that the prescription has to be sent to another pharmacy. (please include their physical address)

4. Once a prescription is issued and physically signed, you will then be contacted to pay for the delivery charge either over the phone or via email payment link.

5. Once payment is cleared the physical prescription will be dispatched to your prefered pharmacy.
 
Getting there, cancelled script, waiting on Newgrove formulary as I CBA losing two days waiting to see if they have stock of what I request or not. I honestly think they are testing the limits of what they can get away with without being done for prescription steering..... Feels like they are dictionary definition of a cartel when it was used as purely business terminology. to be honest not expecting a formulary as I have requested twice already and been ignored, I am signed up with them so that's not the reason.

Honestly find this worse for my health than running the risk of BM. It's disappointing really.

I remember someone on here when I suggested using Mamedica® as they can choose any and they said too many hoops and now a couple of months later I'm starting to understand and if in your case you want to do anything that goes against maximum profits whether at your current or past clinics HOOPS!
 
Yep, just started hitting up law firms this morning about my employment case so when I settle on one I might raise this. I've been told 2 incorrect processes which have delayed this order by over a week so far and a new process which is not automated so will no doubt get accidentally delayed along the way. I reckon it will be end of February before I get an order. So far in 2025 I have managed to procure 40 g of MC, 10g of which was not the strain it was meant to be 🤡's
 
I know we have the ratings bit on the site, but how about firing out some independent survey's to get a true consummer perspective?

I've just fired a mail off to the CQC too to explain my experiences and find out what body/ombudsman I need to raise formal complaints with.
