Hi everyone,

So I was successfully accepted as a patient with CB1 Medical this weekend and have just received my script via the online portal to order and I have only been given the choice of one product, Therismos Access BLR T22 Black Russian Flower. I expected to have a wider choice available for me to order, a little autonomy, is this normal practice?

Also, anyone got experience with this flower? In particular for anti-anxiety and nighttime sleep.

The price seems pretty.

This sounds like a slip up and I would ring them to double check as I've not come across this yet where they would only allow one product even for a new patient so lets hope it's just an oversight 🤞

Thing is, I have ordered the bloody thing now. I mean, it was a good price point and had dominant Mycrene terpene and I have seen a few decent reviews, so I'll stick with this on my first order and then ring them before my next month's script - thanks for the heads up though, thought it was a bit weird.

I'd hope as you log in to the portal after this order your choices will open up and you should have the full formulary to pick from unless they you have an agreed THC limit or something like that and with this strain you have ordered I've seen many people get good use out of it when trying to keep costs lower.

Yeah, we agreed 22%, wonder if this limited my choices?

I have logged back on and there are no more products. I'll wait for this to arrive, see how I go with it and then give them a call about the limited choice.

T22 will limit you pretty severely I'd say in choices and it would be ideal to get it raised but if there are medical reasons then that is another matter but T22 is low to medium strength in THC and many strains are above this.

This limit was placed purely based on the fact I have not smoked for like 20+ years and the clinician said best start low and work up!? I used to smoke when I was a teenager regularly for about 4 years, but as I say, not been near it since.

Ah right well that sort of makes sense to start off and it's as product that is probably good for such a circumstance and you'll soon get into the swing with it as with no tolerance this may still have the desired effects whilst all the time building a tolerance for when you order again and some T25 strains will in fact feel milder in effects then some T22 as it's just the way it works .
I'm sure if you have no ill effects you'll be able to order something different if you so wish as you run low and they will be reassured by you having no negative effects and hopefully it'll give them the confidence to open the formulary a bit more if required.

Hi Tom,

Personally I would say that your doctor did a really good job to be honest. You absolutely want to start out gently and then take some time before diving into a world of different strengths and strains. Also 22% THC is by no means weak. I just recently also joined CB1 Medical and have a 28% limit which game me access to over 50 strains (non irradiated) and over 100 (beta irradiated). I didn't even look at the gamma irradiated flowers as they are not for me.

Anyhow Tom I hope you are getting off to a good start and best of luck in the future when you get access to a far wider choice of medical strains and options.

Innit, agree. We should all try to manage our tolerance! Sayz I, the biggest hypocrite ever!!!
