The smell part is a bit silly in my opinion. They state a general cannabis flower smell in the COA. No one who does the COA seems trained on how each batch should smell. Skunky, Piney, Fruity, Earthy why does the COA not cover this? Because if i ship one batch that smells of say Garlic and another that smells of berrys shouldnt that be on the COA? Especially if were talking same producer and strain the COA doesnt seem able to flag things that go wrong.
An example would be a trained expert would of flagged up LA Confidential had it been described as sunky sweet in the COA. As the recent batches are a totally different strain with a different terpenes profile more like sweet cake etc.
The example you give is a good one, because the aroma ,terpenes is part of the products profile and it would help eliminate stuff like the shannanigons you highlight.

Maybe a place to look for a proper deatailed explanation is on cultivators websites that regularly achieve the top standard . I'd of thought they would want to emphasize this point . I'll have a look around overnight.
