Had enough of Mamedica®, changed to Integro - drying pan fire etc, but at least I should have access to cheaper bud.
IPS and Big Narstie eg
I hate Mamedica, they couldn't give a damn and they give their name to shocking quality bud that I just couldn't take it anymore. Ask to leave and they couldn't care less.

Monthly bill gone down from 500 to 378 - let's see what the quality is like - getting the cellen widow which I have high hopes. Beta irradiated always worked for me in the day and thankfully integro can send me it.

Frying pan _ fire?

Just had to change but probably for the worst!

To be fair mate you know when it's time change I say and you sound like you had clearly reached that point and since leaving Mamedica myself I tend to use IPS more than any other pharmacy so far iirc and the fact your bill has already reduced just by having options is pretty much what happened with me so let's hope the feelgood factor returns 🙏

I started with Mamedica® and ended up leaving too

I won't go into all the details again since you've already decided to leave, but my personal experience was that they didn't seem to care about me really

I probably spend more now but am happier and less stressed for it

Hoping this is a better experience for you

Thanks a lot. Not expecting miracles but a less stressful vibe like your is what I want, so fingers crossed

Unfortunately, so far, they have taken my money but delivered nothing.
Seems equally frustrating so far but why all the radio silence after they get my money?
Rang them, said someone from the admin team will call me back - nothing
Please, anyone with a better alternative, please list it here and I'll try that one after i receive this script.
Really really sick of this shit

"oh it's Christmas so it might take a little longer"

It's a clinic, not an effing shop, get cover in if you don't have the staff.

Also "you have to ring the pharmacy as it's nothing to do with us"

WIth that, I'll try the next rip off cunt merchant

Sorry but will this ever get any better? Are any pharmacies reliable?

I love my clinic and would happily recommend them to anyone, but I believe they are on holiday or skeleton / emergency script service at the moment - I would guess it's the same for all of them at this holiday time and you might only get a true sense of service once we're into the second half of Jan

Most places the pharmacy and clinic are separate like Mamedica® and Integro/ IPS and to be honest mate with your frustration it may be worth a look at Medicann as they could be right up your street but you only have access to what is on their formulary which in fairness a lot of people are happy with and it's free to join so nothing lost if it didn't turn out.

With the clinic I'm a patient at you always have that separation of Clinic and Pharmacy as they don't have a default pharmacy but they do all they can to make it a smooth process and even if something goes wrong they sort it pronto IME.

Thanks both. I've rung the pharmacy again today and it's

"Sorry I can't help you, An admin person will call you" again!

So noone can help, again.

Will have a look at Medicann, many thanks 🙏

Rung again and apparently one of the ones I selected is out of stock, even though I was told all was in stock.
That's fine but why don't they tell me?
Even Mamedica® rang me when something was OOS.

Does wonders for the anxiety this process, incredible considering that's one of the conditions they treat........

Sorry guys, I'll stop ranting now. Thanks for your support.

Mate I was in a similar position this time last year and empathise with you as it screwed my mind up a bit leading up to Christmas when it happened and then the rigmarole of transferring so we just hope it all goes well mate and you can get on with your stuff without having to deal with this sort of stuff.

Thank so much, you and other on here help me loads, much respect ❤️

It's fine, rant away, I myself, and many here, know what it's like to get caught out and / or dragged into these clunky processes MC goes through. As well as the downsides to dealing with some of the businesses involved that are running as a balance sheet and not a patient-centric centre of care.

I'm 'MADD' as well as other things and it really sets off the anxiety when things are unclear, not going as expected, and there's some issue with getting my medication

Best place to come and vent and be understood by others, sorry you're struggling with it all at the moment

We were copied into a frustrated patient's email to IPS this morning, where they also paid yesterday and nothing was dispatched.

They will normally email, but I'd suspect they were just overrun with the backlog over Christmas - things should stabilise by New Year. IPS are generally very reliable for patients.

Cheers fella. Just wish they'd say they're not open if they don't have the staff to fulfill requests.
I'm going on a long walk to forget about it all and hope for the best, thanks for the advice ❤️

@DJekt thank you for sharing your experience, I went through the same with my clinic yesterday and this has been my experience every month. I am so disappointed with my experiences with my clinic over the last few months that I will be changing clinics after my Jan prescription so your post has added another possible clinic to my shortlist.

I am not feeling hopeful today for my own future MC journey as it appears to be heavily skewed towards making money rather than improving patient outcomes and experience.

I did a full disclosure on this forum yesterday to say that I run a CQC regulated service and I am a CQC registered manager and I cannot believe some of the CQC ratings that have been awarded as the patient feedback is so poor across multiple clinics and pharmacies. The problem with CQC inspectors is that they rarely have experience of operating the service they are inspecting and I am 100% certain that none of the CQC inspectors has any experience of cannabis (clinical or as a patient) so they are assessing systems and policies with little regard for patient experiences. I might send CQC an foi to see who is inspecting and awarding these clinics as outstanding and what clinical expertise they have in respect of cannabis.

I have also raised a formal complaint against my own clinic and am preparing to escalate to CQC in due course as in my experience as a patient their services are not safe. I also manage a team of pharmacists and have also previously managed a controlled drugs clinic so my frustrations as a patient are multiplied.

Sorry if this all sounds like a bit of a downer on MC but it feels like the Wild West.

Talking to my wife she highlights the difference between licensed and unlicensed medicine.

Ours is unlicensed medicine which you need a license to sell, ridiculous halfway house grey area, especially when you're saying that vaping is a healthy way to consume it.

We just need to legalise, I'm not sure anything else is going to make a difference
