Clinics Changing Clinics.

Hi.

I'm looking at changing clinics and I'm just wondering if anyone has been with Mamedica® and then changed to somewhere else? How did it go and what were the differences?

Unfortunately it hasn't gone too well for me so far with my clinic and I don't think I can trust them moving forward. I'm an access patient so I pay a one off fee and then get free consultations and I think that may be one of the reasons the support and help is basically none existent. They make a lot more money from customers who pay monthly so now I've paid my initial fee it doesn't really matter to them whether they retain me as a customer or not as I'm not that profitable.

I'm also curious as to how other clinics respond when you have an issue with your product? I was sent 10g of Tropic Thunder that was full of seeds but I can't even speak to them about it. I did bring it up but they just pretended they didn't hear me and changed the subject. I don't expect refunds or exchanges but my worry is they could literally send me anything or an empty bag/tub and I couldn't do a single thing about it because I've broken the seal.
 
Have you sent them pictures of the seeds and the tub with the batch number on and your comments in an email.
They should start an investigation.
That's what they did with me .
Once it gets through this stage you can wait up to 8 weeks for a response of the manufacturer.
I have been waiting 5 weeks now from a response of 4C Labs and I am £60 out of pocket and had to do without 10g of medication that month.
The pharmacies should reimburse us and they should take it up with the manufacturer
If you sell something you should be responsible for that prodict
 
I changed from Mamedica® around Christmas time after 16 months on the access scheme after being left two weeks not knowing what was happening with my meds Id ordered from an outside pharmacy and not being able to get the cheaper products I wanted regularly so after looking around and seeing what services were available where I choose Cannabis Clinic Cardiff and it's a completely different experience as I can use all pharmacies meaning I can pick up discounted stock at different pharmacies and can source some products that are out of stock at most places if needs be and communication is excellent ,fortunately I've not had any questionable meds with quality issue's so can't answer on how they respond to that but I expect it'd be prompt as It in all fairness it was when I raised an Issue with Mamedica when I was there.

Many of us have transferred clinics whilst being members here and I suppose the hardest part for you will be writing off the money you have already laid out with them but there are clinics from £10/month and less available whether that's postage or fees .
 
What happened when you had insects in your bubble bath
Thinking back it had been round the internet before I brought it up with them (buggle gate 😅 )so soon as they found out it was one of their patients to be fair they re-prescribed me overnight but it still took a few days but also I think 4C Labs were already aware of the issue/pics.

The 2 times I've tried to bring it up with them they've told me I need to be transferred to a different department and then the other department I get transferred to says I need to be transferred somewhere else. I haven't even been able to start a conversation over it and I'm at the point where I don't even want to speak to them again because of how bad they are. I need to stress that I'm a really polite friendly customer when ringing them too. I've never spoke in a bad tone or raised my voice and I've never gave them reason to be this way. Sometimes you get customers who don't help themselves but I'm nothing but friendly to them every time I call.

I feel like if I don't change clinic then I'll be even more out of pocket in a few months. I'm ok with losing the initial £200 payment if I can find a clinic who you can talk to and are there to help. Right now I'm in a position where I can't even ring Mamedica because it will do me more harm than good. I come off the phone to them feeling terrible.

You've literally got to the point I was at and you have my sympathies mate and like I say to people on here who question transferring I often reply you know when it time and you sound like you are at that point .
I ended up transferring to Cannabis Clinic Cardiff and quite frankly it's been brilliant for my MH but that stumbling block of £250 I imagine is out of the question after recently spending a similar ammount with MM other clinic like Alternaleaf CB1 Medical will offer an easy way out without much outlay and currently of two service wise CB1 edges it but there are other clinics that hopefully others will tell of their experience with.

Also the cheaper clinics will give you the time and space to assess the landscape of whether a further change is needed . 🙏
 
It does seem like most clinics with pharmacies run into the same problems. Patients get stuck in the middle with no real support when something goes wrong, frustrating when it’s meant to be medication.
Welcome to the forum @ElaineWChat ,you would of thought these clinics/pharmacies would learn by their mistakes but it tends to be the same mistakes/problems repeatedly unfortunately and usually leaving the patient confused .
 
To be fair mine are really good until there is a problem then they fall to pieces
I think it is just the way it is sometimes with medical cannabis clinics
