I would caution against just buying the cheapest device that you can get - you might be disappointed. I bought a small portable device for my first vaporiser but I found it wasn’t very satisfying and the battery doesn’t hold a charge for very long. I usually only use it at home, and when I’m out and about I usually use a cart, so now I regret not getting a desktop vaporiser.
I don’t know if this applies to you, but if you have a chronic illness or disability you can claim VAT exemption on certain devices, which can significantly reduce the cost especially on some of the more high end devices if you’re looking for a good deal. I just bought one here.
That will probably be really unpleasant honestly if it even works. Like you get 50% vape 50% plastic fumes. Invest at least a pot of flower into a device if you can, ideally more like 2 or 3. Something like a herbstick relax/fyhit relax is about the lowest price vape I can even half way recommend. I used one when I was skint at uni and it did admirably to be fair, slight plastic odour not withstanding. it has a ceramic oven and a stainless steel isolated air path so it should be fine. A lot of people seem to recommend the xmax v3 pro. That’s the cheapest vaporiser that is for sale at Montu for what it’s worth. The first device I could genuinely recommend is an airizer solo 2. They are a touch over 100 quid, but made by an actual company who stand by their product. I think when you’re talking about a medical inhalation device that you were going to use potentially multiple times per day it’s worth buying something you know it’s made from safe materials. Especially when the cost is spread over so many uses. I love my tinymight, and although I’ve spent probably £400 now including the device itself and various accessories, it is built to last a lifetime, from super safe materials like stainless steel, wood and glass, an average over its lifetime, it probably cost me pennies per day overall. Also, you’ll be vaporising every single bit of flower you buy through it, and flower ain’t cheap. I know it’s tough on a budget, but I think it’s the one area you really don’t wanna skimp on. I would much prefer budget flower through an expensive vape than the other way around. Peace.
