i just wondered if anyone knows of a clinic that hasd more experience with insomnia sleep disorders? and which clinics have a large range of flower and tinctures?

I've just switched over to Cannabis Clinic Cardiff, you get to speak directly to a specialist every time (rather than a clinician filling out a checklist) and get access to all available UK medical canna (based on your agreed ordering limits each month)

I don't know of any that state this as a specialty but check the main MedBud.wiki for which pharmacies the clinic uses, this will give you an idea of which pharmacies hold the largest formulary.

i have done some checks like that and seen some have ull range, but what i cant see is which pharmacys need your medical records and which dont,? do they normaly astate that?

So there's clinics (doctors who can prescribe the cannabis), and pharmacies (people who can dispense / post out to you / collect payment for the cannabis).

Some clinics also have their own pharmacy, and prefer to handle everything in-house (that might be good for them, and can be convenient, but it's not always good for the patient).

So you'll go to a clinic (once you've decided which one) and their initial consultation / intake process covers getting medical records and determining if you qualify for being prescribed medical canna, and there are no red flag risks.

Every (reputable) clinic is going to want to check through your medical records, see copies of ID, proof of address, etc, because they are prescribing a controlled drug, you must have a qualifiying disability / long-term condition, and must have tried two forms of treament already. There will be other factors but this is the broad strokes of it from a patient point of view.

I'd say only use a clinic you can see listed on the page below on this site we're on now (MedBud.wiki) since there are some dodgy places popping up.

AFAIK thats not possible - your GP surgery is copied on letters to you as its a specialist informing you and your GP. I guess you got your reasons for not wanting to inform them but don't let this stop you mate

I think it may be possible to get your summary of care record from the NHS app going off what @utopiate mentions in another thread here.
I've not done this myself but could be a possibility.

Well down to poor management at my local GP obtaining my records, i have to pause my next appointment until ive obtained them. So as im not back in the country till the 13th may im playing the anxious waiting game. Bastards are my local GP, proper ball bags

You can download your summary care record from the NHS app and upload that to the portal

what i mean is, if i joined a clinic and showed them copies of the medical records, do they contact the GP , , and then the fact id be getting treatment, cannabis fgrom a clinic would that then be put on my med records?

Yes they all should be linking back with some form of updates to your GP

As mentioned they do link up with reports of your treatment but it is nothing to fear as your GP has no control over your MC journey or prescription and the only thing that would prevent you getting MC is a medical reason (not a doctors stigma or reservations about cannabis)and you would be getting prescribed by a consultant /specialist .

^^^^Just to echo that solid advice - once accepted to a clinic, its between you and the specialist, I have heard nothing from my GP re MC since 18months and have changed clinic(s) too.
