Clinics Could someone please tell me which clinic to transfer too

Can you please tell me what clinic you are with and how the process works because hardly any of the products that are displayed on MedBud are available to me,even when I can clearly see it's in stock and people from other clinics are being prescribed the same medication.

There are lots of different strains available on here but I don't even look anymore!

because I am disappointed everytime that it is time to renew my prescription or they are going to change it to something that they believe is a suitable alternative, 9 x out of 10 without even consulting you after the prescription has been written,when items are not available they don't ask you what you would like instead,you just get told what they have replaced it with.

If I would like to change the current medication I have been prescribed i need to have an appointment every time and there is not a great deal available for them to perscribe from the formulary platform.

I don't see why you shouldnt be able to.

he flowers and the leaf or plant matter in whatever it comes in. look on the website and tchoose the medication and then tell the Dr at your appointment.

Or at least be more involved in the decision process at the very least.

Could someone someone please point me in the right direction and give me some advice.

The amount it is costing me and the service I have received.

Massive medication delays, prescribed medications not being available by the time they send the paper copy to the to dispensary is then no longer available.

Quality of medications does vary massively from one dispensary to the next and considering the price tag the presentation of the flowers and the leaf/plant matters and the quality of some of the products definitely didn't live up to the expectations I had considering the (Grade) of it.

It often makes me consider,going back to getting it from local vendors and not putting myself through the stress of sitting in the support window waisting my life trying to just get I have paid for or something else instead

I would be grateful for any advice you could provide me with.
 
Welcome to the forum @MedPatient#86 and we'll help/guide you all you need as it's sounds like your at the end of the road with your current situation .
I've just switched clinic's myself so I can access all the MC medications available in the UK and get a better service at Cannabis Clinic Cardiff and my wife recently joined CB1 Medical and if you let me know your priorities to do with your choice in clinic and we can help more . :)
 
Reading your question again and looking at the frustration about your time with them I would recommend my new clinic but the stumbling block for patients transferring is the initial £250 fee where as at say CB1 Medical this is free to transfer but you will be more limited in what is available than if you transferred to Cannabis Clinic Cardiff ,Also others like Alternaleaf get good feedback off members on here recently but another factor in a patients decision can be access to the lower weights ie. 3.5g, 5g, 7g and so far these can only be obtained/prescribed through a few clinics .
 
I moved to CB1 Medical from Releaf, as such the move was free and there are no costs for the first year. There is a £7.95 postage fee on each months script (CB1 call a month 28 days). The CB1 pharmacy is fairly big and growing, but I can also have my prescription made out to any pharmacy, and I was allowed to choose my own products from my first script with CB1. CB1 have been brilliant with me and I can really recommend them. During my research Cardiff CC also ranked high and I would have gone there but CB1 was free to move to for a year.
Also my move was completed fairly quickly as CB1 can access your medical summary via the NHS instead of having to get it from your doctor which can slow the process down.

I moved to CB1 Medical from Curaleaf, had a video call appointment yesterday as someone cancelled their appointment so lucky me ☺️, anyhow I was extremely anxious and stressed out, I couldn’t see the person I was talking to, I explained my struggle with Curaleaf and I am not listening to, he went and asked me of the products I am using and the strains and he went and said CB1 their max strain is 29%THC so they will not have strain like the cosmic Cream 31%THC and went and said about tolerance even though I tried to explain I just tried this cosmic Cream 31%THC 3 times since October 2024 then January 2025 twice which’s both orders were bad quality anyhow I started getting very uncomfortable as he was rushing me not letting me finish my sentence so he went and said rudely what’s that I want from the list so I can clearly see first on the list was the cosmic cream and I pointed it out and he just avoided so I just requested Pave S1 and Dosi Cake and as he was rushing me I couldn’t even select the third product and he said chose it your own time and now he will take it my file to the panel and I will know Tuesday of next week so here I am lost confused and beyond so Happy Friday to all 🙏🏽

That sounds like you've had a rough time and am sorry to hear it and sort of upsets me that you have been made to feel this way and I would of told them where to go in no uncertain terms if I was made to feel this .
On my recent consultancy at my new clinic he could see I was uneasy at first and put me ease even suggesting I medicate if needed and this consultancy lasted an hour and covered many aspects of MC and Me and I was made to feel like I made the right choice ,where as the opposite seems to have happened here as it sounds like you've been processed and harried and made to feel an inconvienience to them as they are in a rush 😡

This is really bullshit. I am sorry this has happened to you - I can guess which doctor... Join Cannabis Clinic Cardiff if you can afford it or Integro if not mate. I'm also looking to move.

Wow I find this incredible, the service I have received this does not make sense. The vid calls are for an exact time as the next patient will be waiting, so I can see that is why the appointment ended. The doctor I spoke to was wonderful, I would ring CB1 and discuss the script, I am sure they will help you to get what you want, especially as you can’t join and script will not be ordered until after the MDT meeting to authorise you. Explain calmly what happened that you ran out of time, and ask if they can help you re do the script, they are usually great on the phone.

How have you been restricted? in THC strength? have you asked to raise it and have all products available?
 
Alternaleaf are also getting good patient experience reports too on here and are cheap at £10 per month but these experiences are what drive people away from MC and I'm so glad I don't have this stress any more and it's Ok these clinics offering free transfers etc but they still need to provide the consultancy and explain the service properly and listen to the patients needs and concerns in a relaxed atmosphere.

As I say we are doing ok with them but that matters not a jot to me after hearing this and the warning signs are beginning appear it seems.

Did you email / ring them to point this out and get it refunded?

I think as usual its "militant" docs or outside chance its business reasons. Perhaps they want people off, easier to grow without their perceived high THC risk. @Moon

I will mate thank you. Just hard day today, this nonsense batters me sometimes as I thought I had a system to get my meds and I have anxiety, so another day. Prob not on purpose by them tbf.

Usually, the receptionist just sorts it on a phone call, if she can't ask to speak to the nurse. You need to verify all flower products are available to you on the app/portal. I made sure in my initial consultation that this was done for me as that was the reason I was moving, no choice and need all strengths available. For many new clients most clinics cap the THC limit for a few orders, I have friends with other clinics only allowed up to 25%, whereas I can order 31% but they get it sorted over time.

I have the same issue with the oil I can’t see over 25% THC oil to order, but this was responsible of them, I am meant to try this 25/25 bottle I have then speak to the nurse if it’s not strong enough to get my limit raised. I accept this as responsible as I am new to oil.

Yes buddy this is what exactly what happened, I called them first spoken to a lovely lady and she just calmed assured me that everything will be alright and assisted me with emails and just wait for appointment next week then I had call after like 1 hour or two hours and asked me if I would like my appointment for today “ yesterday “ and I accepted the call @14:50 and as I explained I above I couldn’t see the person I am talking with beside knowing it’s a male and the name of showing I told him I am quite anxious and stressed out nervous but he didn’t care about me, he asked what strain and how much I told him it depends on what’s available for treatment and he asked about the allowance so again I explained from my understanding from recent prescription is 60g 20g silver haze 20g OG Kush and allowed me as OOS it should be 20g Cosmic Cream but only 10g was available and he went and said CB1 Medical only stick strain up to 29%THC no more than that and he was rushing me to select what flower from the list which made me more confused anxious stressed out as I requested advise and he went and said regarding tolerance for higher strains which I explained I only found this cosmic Cream accidentally and just was trying and my first order was December 2024 and January now 2025 and I find it to work fine so far and he just rushed me I couldn’t even select the third product and just said select it yourself and wait till Tuesday to hear back from CB1 as it went to the panel etc. So I don’t what’s going on and when I sign to CB1 app I only see prescription bending with 2 items cost about £260 something like that. For CannFX Cirrus Hybrid T28 (28% THC, <1% CBD) Dosi Cake 20g

Green Karat PV T28 (28% THC, <1% CBD) Pavé S1 Medical Cannabis Flower It should be 20g but it showing 1 unit 10g and both medications awaiting MTD review

Thanks 🙏🏽 the meeting started at least 10 minutes late from their side not mine then I got even more anxious 😬 as I couldn’t see the other person I am talking with and he’s talking over me not letting me finish my sentence I kept saying I am getting nervous and panicking he can see how stressed I was but he just wanted to end the conversation and this was like so quick not even 30 minutes so I am just disappointed 😞 and just punched out with what has happened yesterday really upset me. Or simply bad luck 🤷🏽‍♀️
