I've been through onboading with 2 clinics, and with both I had medication in hand by the timelines you've already been waiting @marciomvm

That sounds a long time for a multi disciplinary team to meet and review this as most clinics do this within a day or a few days usually at most and I can only assume this is because they are just getting up to speed as a clinic but this does not help you in the slightest .

Also thinking about it since the 13th this will be the sixth working day since then so maybe it is not so far behind schedule as first appears and I'd hope this will be sorted in the next day or so you can receive your meds soon as and in theory going forward you would not face this delay again as this team meets to approve new patients and sometimes if alterations to amounts a patient is requiring changes .

Im wondering if it's due to clinic size?

I'm assuming they've not got many new patients to warrant weekly MDT checks.

I imagine they need to get all these MDT panel docs together and that means paying them (from what I understand most doctors are just contracted and don't work for the clinic itself) so to limit costs I can see a fortnightly MDT taking place, especially if it's the early days.

That said, all this is speculation so take it with a massive pinch of salt.

Ive booked a consultation with dispensed on Monday, first time getting med cannabis, 20 year BM user, im concerned ive made the wrong choice of clinic and may cancel my consultation, apparently you cant pick what strains you want and there's so little review on this clinic, does anyone have any info or experience?

Welcome to the forum @BoltonBrawler and this does seem to be way this clinic is operating at the moment and if you want a bit more freedom to choose your meds there are plenty of others that would facilitate you as long as you qualify medically .
Going from what we have seen there it appears to be 9 medications on their formulary and the clinicians seem pretty adamant which one you should pay for so in all honesty I would try elsewhere if I were in your shoes .

These are both clinics that would offer more open access and from a wider range taking into consideration you have been a BM user for 20 years and are experienced with Canna and both these clinics over the year cost £120 so £10/month on average but in reality CB1 is a £50 joining fee then £6/month postage .

Best thing you could do.Do your research here specify the strains you want - you can make a free acct at Montu to see stock/coming soon. ask for as much allowance as you can - Go in as high (lol) as you can based on your honest bm usage. Good luck mate.

If you haven't already done so make an account on Montu. You'll be able to browse their offerings - it's a little bare at the moment so the more prepared you can be the better I reckon.
