It's definitely not as clear cut as the law makes it out to be.I don't want to get in to all the ins and outs but my opinion is.
I wouldn't drink and drive!
I wouldn't take Co-Codamol and drive!
I wouldn't medicate and drive!
You are the judgment, you should never drive if you think you may be impaired in any way.
It just needs a way for testing to be accurate or a sobriety test of some kind.
Dunno, just a thought.

Confirmed it ,there is nothing to declareHey, Where can I get some advice on DVLA medical licence application / being a medical cannabis patient ? Many thanks
It won't as its just another medication like any other and my wife has to fill out the same application and the same rules apply as with other medications related to impairment .Hi, yes I’m aware you do not need to tell them but as part of the medical I do every so often because I have a medical condition, they ask about my medications and sometimes drug test.
So I’m wondering if it will affect my application this year.
Thank youIt won't as it’s just another medication like any other and my wife has to fill out the same application and the same rules apply as with other medications related to impairment .
No worries and it's the stigma imprinted on us that makes us apprehensive on these matters but hopefully we're moving forward one step at a time , hope it all goes wellThank youI thought this would be the case but I still feel apprehensive!
