Well colour me disappointed. Not horrified but not jumping with joy by any means. That probably sounds familiar! The expiry date on my batch is April '27 so you'd think it would be full of wow factor, it wasn't, my nose and eyes were sending the "Oh no" signals. I vaped some, it's a bit harsh, best via bubbler,. If this is as fresh as the expiry would indicate then I can only figure that the cure went too dry. There's dust in the bottom of the bag, it's covered in headless trichomes but still shiny on the inside. The nugs are small mids and very tight/compact, dry enough to merit laying off to let it sit with boveda in glass. It has an ultimately
Indica feel when it comes to effects, which contradicts the
Limonene content claim, maybe the
Humulene. It has a sweet but different taste that's hard to describe. Perhaps the landrace. I'd hoped this would be a discovery and a future source but it's just another easily forgotten footnote in the UK Med Cannabis annals of the dessicated and mediocre. I'd say this one should really be £5/g. That probably sounds familiar too.
This cultivar must be amazing when everything is done right. There is a nice smooth creamy flavour to it at 170C, this via POTV Lobo, when you go up to around 190C that's when the bubbler comes in, too dry. It's not a total waste of money but its just sad that it wasn't done better. I'd like to see an outfit like the one in Lesotho do well for all sorts of reasons. It is very calming while at the same time uplifting. It's refreshingly different taste-wise but would be better if stored with a boveda when packed. Even then this must have been dry from the get go to arrive in the state it was in.
