Cannabis Clinic Cardiff looks great, fast turnarounds, access to all products and pharmacies, but having just read pain patients aren’t their bag, a non starter for me.

CB1 Medical was another option, but maybe not after the recent data leaks and breaches.

Can anyone make any recommendations?

I would love to find a clinic that puts patients first, answers emails and turns around requests quickly, and allows multiple requests per month. Does such a thing exist?

Well Cantourage are excellent at support and answering emails quickly, you can request multiple per month but there is a £15 fee for the additional requests.
If the item shows as 1-2 days they are very fast but some of their stock is 3-5 days and some is 7-10 working days so it depends on what you pick.
Their formulary is a little lacking choice with just 45 flowers currently

Great thanks for the reply mate. How are they about sending to other pharmacies do you know? And is that 1-2 days from request to in your hands?

Sometimes yes, but the days they quote are processing time, so it can be a little longer till delivery.
I have asked before about using other pharmacies and it’s always met with an instant no

I personally believe Cantourage are amongst the best of the best when it comes to UK clinics. Their staff team has a lot of patients in it, and they've also obviously been a top importer for years at this point.

Cedarwood, their default pharmacy, has been very slow for me - however I also hear it's a lot quicker for Cantourage patients as there's a way more efficient script processing route in-place for their patients (also no £9 delivery charge.)

I don't have good insight on their complete formulary right now, but from the perspective of choosing a patient-centric clinic I don't think you can go wrong.

It might be worth considering Integro @williemed, they have amongst the largest ranges and accept pain patients - also with IPS they can do next day dispatch after requests if made early enough in the day.

The only major downside is a £10 repeat prescription fee, though they do properly allow you to use any pharmacy (or at least when I was with them.)

Ok well that's not too shabby at all then to be fair! Their stance on using other pharmacies is a deal breaker for me personally though. I'm surprised they weren't more tactful in a way lol I think clinics have to let patients choose their pharmacy if they wish. A solid no is crazy! Appreciate the insight mate 👊💚

Awesome, I will check them out! From what I can see although it's a £10 repeat fee, consults are free and switching is free too. So unless I'm missing something, if I treated it like Alternaleaf and did one request per month, it would cost me the same £10 per month, in which case I've really got nothing to lose and everything to gain 🤔 thanks for the recommendation 🙏💚

I'm in the process of switching to Medicann from CB1, firstly you won't have an allowance or THC limit and can order what you want from the formulary straight away (they use IPS so great selection to choose from and regularly discounted meds available) secondly from filling out my eligibility form then uploading my records etc they had me an appt for the very next day to which I was then approved, one more appt tomorrow for 5 mins with the doctor to go over the formulary etc I'd imagine and thats me ready to go... Already got two people registered with them and exact same thing happened with them.

No registration fee, £5 a month delivery/consultation fee (no more hidden fees)

I did have a run in with speaking to someone who couldn't understand my query via email and was eventually greeted by a manager who quickly resolved the matter - gave me her personal details if I ever need assistance again so that was also very impressive

Awesome, thanks for the recommendation and sharing your experiences! Can you make multiple requests per month? It sounds fab, the only sticking point for me though, I have just been reading about them refusing to let a patient use other pharmacies than IPS, even going so far as to discharge them!? I would like to maintain freedom of choice there.

No worries Willie, yeah take note that you cannot use external pharmacies with Medicann (ATM this may change further down the line) people have been discharged etc... As far as I know you can make multiple requests without issue, I still need to give it a go myself to be sure though, doctor said no allowance or THC limit and can request what I want as of when I need and that includes edibles, oils, vapes etc so we'll see shortly I guess :P

From my experience the external pharmacy thing is a bit of a mess around regardless of what clinic your with and isn't worth the hassle so I wouldn't even attempt it again unless I had no option (done it with CB1 Medical to ips but didn't go to plan so ended up cancelling it a few days later, ended up with no meds due to it and down postage fee £5.80)

I may phone them up and ask because it was my understanding it is a legal obligation for them to allow patients freedom of choice of pharmacy. Multiple requests a month, with no allowances etc, sounds lovely and stress free though I must say.

Maybe that is brownie points for Alternaleaf then honestly, they make choice of pharmacy really quite frictionless. I had a few issues with scripts being written incorrectly the first couple times I did it, but recently they split my script between Montu and IPS with no dramas at all. They even have a drop down menu on their portal to select alternate pharmacies on the request portal! 👏

Right Montu are out of stock of pave before I even got a payment link so I’m calling Integro in the morning. What is the point of having a fancy online portal, with live stock of your sister, in house pharmacy, with a ‘no new requests’ system, if items can still go out of stock even after you have requested and been prescribed them. Maddening.

did you already have the script requested when it was in stock or miss it altogether?

I requested via the portal just over a week ago when it was showing as in stock 🙃 it’s now gone back to no new requests so Montu must have found a few bags that fell down the back of the fridge fingers crossed I get my payment link early tomorrow 🤞
