Another discussion thread for anyone to chime in on. What have been your most reliable/consistent pharmacies over time?

On Friday I had scripts posted to Montu and Specials, Montu delivered today, Specials will deliver tomorrow. I normally find Specials and IPS amongst the most reliable, always next-day when products are in stock - though Montu were impressive for the first time using them this month.

I've used Mamedica a lot recently, and while they're quick to get medication together after invoice, not being a patient there myself it often takes a few takes to react to my script landing. I do really appreciate them providing all flower with Boveda or Integra humidity packs though.

DG (now Lyphe) almost always took over a week, Xeal were good the first and only time I used them.

Currently waiting to see if my doctor can post a script to Takoda One still this month, as they've been ignoring his emails on how to direct prescriptions for several weeks apparently.

DG was long I remember that 2 weeks sometimes on the oil my oil came from rockshaw at the time don’t know if that made any difference 🤷‍♂️ it change to lyphe after that. What happened to TMCC did it get incorporated into lyphe group?

Mamedica was really quick at the start, I could put in an prescription online, and if Im about to run out I would call an explain and I would receive an invoice the same day and receive medication the following morning. Understandably they have implemented a 5day delay between ordering and receiving prescriptions so now i make an order over the weekend and it’s being delivered within 3-4day usually

Yeah, it was just the name of Lyphe's own clinic to begin with - similar to 'Sapphire' changing to 'Curaleaf'.

This is something I truly hope reverts in the long-run, and that Mamedica's upcoming new systems are able to mitigate.

Agreed. It feel like it’s started improving but it’s only by a day on these past two orders, when they implemented this 5day delay they were quite strict with it.

I have noticed that recently I seem to get the Royal Mail notifications on the day I receive the medication and no notification of being sent the day prior, which leaves me scratching my head especially if I call for an update and they say it’s being sent that day and you don’t get any notifications until the morning it’s being delivered.

I've never had any kind of dispatch notification from Mamedica personally (something I hope the new system addresses), but Royal Mail at least have always acknowledged when something is received and on the way.

I mostly get mobile updates from the Royal Mail app - worth checking yourself if you haven't already. It's really useful for eBay sellers and such too.

Yeah unfortunately I also don’t get an update from Mamedica only RM but i just find it strange i receive no notifications of dispatch until the day of delivery.

Do you know if this new system has anything to do with the new patient portal? They were using sail.portal but I can no longer log in to it.

Yes, SAIL have shutdown - so independent development is continuing otherwise. What I've been referring to is the new Mamedica patient portal.

Glad to hear you're getting on okay with JEC, there's been a lot of social media complaints lately - and they don't seem to be abating after several weeks.

PS: You can pop it in your profile here.

Mamedica are ok .if you tell them you are running out of medication they will put you on a priority list for the next day and give you a tracking number.
I always ring first thing if I need this though not at ten to five

SAIL is gone but still linked on my invoice for my yearly appointment. I had to book it yesterday and Mamedica said they will send me a link for some Microsoft video call.

I look forward to this new system they are implementing. I always had issues with connection for the consultations when they used the old portal

A+ from me for both Alternaleaf & Montu for their excellent service,

Alternaleaf have been faultless for me so far, I am happy with my Doctor, who has always made me feel comfortable when we chat via videocall each quarter, their consultation cost has recently been reduced to £39 every 3 months and I feel the cost of £13 a month for their faultless service is justified, although i do wish the quarterly consultation cost wasn't needed, as I'm aware of other clinics which could save me some money if i switched over to them, but the service I've received from both Alternaleaf and their Pharmacy Montu i feel would be very hard to match.

For instance, I had my quarterly consultation this week on Tuesday, I explained to my Doc that i was running short of my meds and may run out by Thursday, he suggested putting my script through to Montu as urgent for me, I received my Payment link from Montu the next day and I received my meds for 11am the following day (Thursday).

Many a time my emails to Montu have been delt with the very same day, i wouldn't like to experience the days or sometimes weeks that some patients are having to wait for their Pharmacy before receiving a reply.

The Mamedica process is broken right now. I cannot recommend anyone new here to join them. 11 days ago I had my first consultation and still have no medication. Phone calls needed at every single stage to try and move the needle or nothing would happen and this would take even longer.
What would be helpful is being straight with it being "broken" and to expect extended delays.

I had a nightmare with my first few prescriptions they kept saying it will get better when you are on shared care which it was.
This means you can order direct with the pharmacy i think the doctors were not putting my prescription into the pharmacy on time or something.
hopefully it will get sorted soon you will be ok when the postman turns up
