Flower Find WPT Smalls T22 Wedding Pop Triangle

I ordered this, then watched that review, and came to believe I might have made a mistake - albeit a cheap one.

Then it arrived, and I realised very quickly I didn't make a mistake, and that that review is wrong, and this might be the best value strain available on MC, in line with Lank72's spreadsheet.

It doesn't smell like a mylar bag when you open it. The aroma is muted compared to other strains, but it is there, and's subtly delightful in a very moreish way. It's got a lovely creamy vanilla note, with hints of fresh air and the slightest skunky manurey (in a good way) sherbet at the deeper end of the inhale. 3/10 in intensity of aroma, 7/10 in actual aroma itself.

The nugs are indeed smalls, each nug is about the size I need for a chamber - after the grind the intensity of all that just climbs up a little to maybe 5/10 and the terp profile becomes undeniable, but it is still muted. I got some up my nose sniffing it, which gives you an idea of both the moreishness and the mutedness.

In a way it's exactly what I'd expect from its genetics, Wedding Cake [itself Animal Mints x Triangle Kush] x Triangle Kush. If you take the flavour of Glass Pharms Wedding Cake, turn the flavour down to about 30% intensity, and then send it in a more creamy Kush direction then you've got WPT.

First few hits at 180 gives you that vanilla/fresh air combo popping out, with the manurey fresh air almost gassy part on the exhale, leaving that moreish feeling on the tongue when you lap it towards the roof of your mouth. After the first few hits and increasing up to 195-200, it's becoming that naturally more "baked" tasting which combined with vanilla leans it very heavily into wedding cake territory, but not in an overwhelmingly sweet way. 7/10 in taste.

However, the vapour is not the smoothest and there is a slight irritant sting in it, although there's plenty of vapour to be had at the price point, so 6/10 in vapour quality.

Effects wise: Yes, much more powerful than other strains at 20-24% I've had, great strain for the evening wind down, perhaps not quite sedative enough for "out like a light" sleep, but certainly the most sedative strain I think you'll get for a fiver a gram. Too powerful for an active daytime for me, good for relaxing afternoon though. Strongest muscle-relaxant effect I've had so far. Low level background depression gone, low level anxiety gone. 8/10.

I've now had good experiences with Glass Pharms Wedding Cake, Find Wedding Pop Triangle and Peace Naturals® Wedding Cake so I'm thinking this general lineage is a new friend to me.

Happy to keep this on script in future, although intrigued to see what the Curaleaf T24 version has to add as well, though I doubt it adds £1.90/g worth of value to be honest.

And it's another one for the "you really have to try it for yourself" lesson, because if I'd seen the review above BEFORE I'd ordered it I might have thought twice, but I'm glad I didn't. Also another one for the "modest THC doesn't mean modest effects" lesson and for the "price has absolutely nothing to do with quality or effects".
