Today was an interesting combination of indulgence and practicality, all wrapped up in a battle between my appetite and my gut. It started around 4 PM, when I was really struggling with my appetite—food has been a challenge lately. So, I opted for my usual: boring chicken mince and root veg stew. No potatoes, as my stomach would definitely not agree with that, but at least it’s something.

Fast forward to 9 PM, and the hunger hit me hard—like, could-eat-an-arm hungry. My amazing fiancé, despite knowing full well that my guts would rebel, decided to order me one of my all-time favourite treats: the Asda Extra Special Ginger Latte Cake. I know I’ll pay for it later, but I couldn't resist. It felt like having two desserts in one!

Now, what brings me to this post: the culprit, Indigo Horizon® DOC T24, aka Doce de Casa. I’ve been vaping it since the afternoon, and while I can't describe it perfectly in terms of flavour—most strains just taste like "green smoothies" to me with a hint of soapiness—its effects have been more than noticeable. I must mention that I’ve never experienced couch-lock with any strain, so I can’t speak to that effect. However, I know it’s a common experience for others with strains like this, so it’s worth noting. For me, I didn’t feel restricted in movement, even though my pain has been holding me back. Instead, I’ve been enjoying a sense of calm, both mentally and physically, as long as I’m not moving too much.

The smell of Doce de Casa is subtle; it’s there when you first open the tub, and it stays with you while you grind it. As someone who’s been battling appetite and digestive issues, I’ve really needed something to help ground me mentally, and DOC T24 has definitely done that. My head is calm, my stomach is full (despite the aftermath I’ll likely face), and it’s been a rare moment where I felt normal enough to enjoy something sweet.

So, two desserts today—one to feed my belly, the other to feed my soul. For now, I’m grateful for that peace of mind, even if my body’s telling me it might regret it later.

I've been eating a lot more than usual since getting Doce de Casa after a spell of not really eating regularly so may be something to bare in mind with that strain.
I think I am addicted to mini rolls. The ones with the cream in.
Cake ,coffee and cannabis work so will together
I like the ones with raspberry in if you mean the cadburys rolls but they're also dearer:(and as for cake ,coffee and cannabis this has been my staple diet since the early 90's with a bit of beans on toast thrown in to be healthy:ROFLMAO:

Maybe honestly I felt ravenous this evening so you might be right
Warning: may cause coffee cake cravings...
