Hi there

I wanted to share some info with new patients. I was confused when i first heard of Rosin cartridges and i think i can help others.

First of all i would like to state there are two parts to a Rosin vape on UK Medical. You will buy a cartridge filled with 1ml of Rosin but you will need to screw on a source of power we call these 510 thread batterys. They simply mate by screwing the cartridge into the battery it is very easy. You can buy the battery from the clinic a popular battery is the Jupiter 510 battery. But i highly recommend you instead go to the link below and buy the CCELL Go Stik it is a superior battery that when bought in a minimum of two will cost you around £7 and they work very well.

How do you use it? Its important you try a lower voltage first around 2.6v. You simply inhale and the heat will be activated you will inhale soft and slow for around four seconds. Please note after each draw give time for the oil to drip into the heater it is very bad to abuse vapes and take long hits and to constantly and quickly take puffs you can fail to saturate the heater and burn dry the coil or wick this can release noxious fumes and burn away the wick you could be inhaling metal fumes. This is why i recommend you change the vape every 1-2 months.

I also caution you against buying expensive 510 vapes. Having bought the Zeus Ion £44 mine degraded after one week. It refuses to produce vapor and takes long sessions of holding down the button. It clogs a lot and all the button pressing cooked my cartridge. My cartridge got so warm the rosin was flowing like a liquid yet this vaporizer a premium 510 vape would not produce vapor. Putting the same cartridge into a new vape solved all the problems but my cart was cooked with it being now dark brown and tasting of AVB. A really horrible experience. Having ordered the CCELL Go Stik i can say this little £7 battery kicks ass and on every inhale produces good vapor.

Where can i buy a good vape then? I think the following link is good value if you bulk a minimum of two you can with postage have two for roughly £10 which is the same as the Mamedica® pens but the Go Stik is a much more premium device that has voltage control and usbc.

Changing a lithium battery every month is not very green, mind you.

I am not familiar with this specific CCELL model but I have 2 other ones, and with those the wick and fumes are not a concern. They draw air in through the top holes around the rim, not the bottom, your airpath does not touch the inside of the device basically, as I understand.

I always take long 5-6 second slow draws, but I do wait a few minutes between them.

No issues with clogging, burning, overheating etc, my main device is 4+ months old

i have the 510 yocan pro (screen changing one to 3 things lol) i use the 10 sec preheat for the rosin cart if it looks solid (cold weather at the moment usually means it is) then take like a 5-7 second draw on about 2.8 from memory

havent had any issues with the east coast rosin cart

I hate dumping waste but its Mamedicas fault they could just offer up the Rosin with no cart and let us use wax pens etc it all depends on how long the vapes last. The CCELL Go Stik seems to draw air from the bottom it has not clogged yet so fingers touched it can last a few months.

By contrast the burns cart was taken to the kitchen with the Clearleaf® jupiter pen and being cold it literally is jammed everytime i go out lol but they are by far inferior batterys.

Im using 2.6v for Rosin it tastes good the cold weather is a pain though i agree. I also have an unused Yocan Uni 2025 box mod i should test but im stoked with how the Go Stik performs.
