Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself and say hello, I’m really glad I found this forum. Cannabis has supported me through most of my life whether that’s been through self-cultivation or BM but I honestly never thought I’d be able to become an official / registered patient thinking the process with be arduous and a waste of time….how wrong was I !!

I signed up with Mamedica®, after a little research but to be honest I didn’t think I’d get this far so that research was quite limited but here I am; just ordered my second month’s prescription after the second consultation and I’m very happy.

Absolutely blows my mind that my meds come through the post and that I have a selection of strains that I can work with and test, what a revelation! That in itself is such a burden off my shoulders. I like to use Sativa strains through the day and an Indica Hybrid in the evenings. I quit smoking many many years ago after switching to vaping and have collected a few vapes now both portable and desktop.

My consultant through Mamedica has been brilliant and very supportive, I’m now on a repeat prescription which will hopefully mean the process becomes a little more fluid…..happy days.

Welcome @Lozo ,your journey sounds very similar to my own and the relief that legality brings after all these years is massive for me ,nice to see your up and running already and at the point of doing your own repeats as this is where a bit more freedom in your selections comes .

Self cultivation is vital going forward I think for patients to be allowed to do if able ,this would help a lot with the costs and its therapeutic too

The fact you already own some vapes will come in handy as you know it can soon add up

VAS hit hard for a number of years but it allowed me to hone in on vapes that I like to use; I enjoy collecting and what better than to have a vape collection right? I’m lucky I’ve a few nice pieces and really like the wooden vape aesthetics (RBT, Firewood, Nomad).

I’ve got Delahaze, Black Jelly and Farm Gas coming this month, first month had Moroccan Peaches, Haymaker and Pick Kush, I’m keeping a log of what works best for me but I try and keep the Caryophyllene amount not so prominent so will see how the Black Jelly works……but it’s just fantastic to have the choice and I’m very grateful of the position I’m in.

As patients if we can legally self-cultivate that would incredible and like you said very therapeutic, but for now I’m very happy to have a monthly choice.

This feels like real progression for me.

Ok Ok meds have wore off , got no script due and need a new clinic feeling a bit you know ,and wake up to comradski @Turnster 's early morning attempt at pointing out I'm not funny , I'm married with a son ,I repeatedly get told how not funny I amit's what keeps me trying

Thanks for the welcome too, I can only speak for myself but I find strains high in Caryophellene have a slight negative effect on me, especially if used for a while; I get slightly irritated and on edge, not initially but more so if used for a while. Now that I can pick and choose more so than what was available to me before becoming a patient I’m keeping a log of the strains that work well for me. I tend to gravitate towards floral and fruity strains and less peppery ones.
