Hi, I hope I’ve posted this in the right place 😬

My 1st month on MC is nearly up and I am looking to try some new strains.

I am looking for a day and a night for back/nerve pain relief.

Would Mac daddy be a good choice for the day ?
&
Would modified gas be ok for the night ?

Is there anything else you would recommend from the Cantourage formulary please?

Yes you will be fine with the ones you picked for day and night another option I would pick kandy terpz for the day and frosted cookies for the night but get what takes your fancy
Thank you, I had looked at kandy terpz but the majority of the reviews were negative (an unusual taste apparently 🤷)

Frosted cookies does look good, it has the terpenes I have been looking for 👍🏻👍🏻

Evening , I would say the Mac daddy would be fine during the day and tends to be when I have used it so far(although not for pain ) and it has a decent quality about it as well as being a new fresher batch on their formulary I'd imagine as it's the new £7/g price

Thanks, I am getting a little bit frustrated with the limited choice that Cantourage offers
It's worth baring in mind D.O.E. is going to be through Cantourage to the best of my knowledge so the formulary will expand but it'd be nice to see some 4C Labs products on there as an option and maybe some Upstate products too (y)

I could be totally wrong but I was under the impression you can ask your clinic to send your prescription to any pharmacy 🤔 I know with Alternaleaf they default to Montu but had no problems with me asking to get one sent to IPS but I can’t be sure if it’s the same elsewhere. I have a feeling I read somewhere that it is though

You can in theory but your prescriber has to be familiar with the product they are prescribing and clinics tend to use any excuse to avoid doing this and my experience of doing this is 2 tries and 2 fails both leaving me annoyed but others have had success to varying degrees .

I did ask Cantourage if that was possible, but was told no.
Having now read sone more it seems to be the clinics decision wether they will or not.

Ah ok that’s a shame, kind of makes sense though I guess. Cheers guys. Hopefully you can find something that works well for you @cornucopia 🙏💚

I think this is wrong but regardless you deserve better - shout if you want help around transferring, its very easy to do and so important to find the right fit for you.

You can ask for it sent to any pharmacy as is your right ,the problem is they wont prescribe things not on their formularies so you can send the script elsewhere but only for products they cover which are in their own pharmacies so disincentivising you to do so.

Morning mate

Usual restrictive practices + prescription steering. Industry needs cleaning up - this is a massively profitable racket they are running...
