Herb Mill

Actually this morning I gave this mill a better look and I dont really like what I see. It's basically metal scraping against metal as the top and bottom layers actually touch.

Teeth usually don't touch each other. The two layers here do, you can clearly feel and hear it.

Metal agains metal likely means we're shaving metal particles into our bud that we will inhale.

The concept of this mill is awesome. But there needs to be just a tiny gap between the two layers.

I'll try to hack it somehow, increase the gap... but don't recommend otherwise.

I got the premium flower mill 2.0, it doesn't have any grating of parts, really well made

Lot pricier though

A lovely thought and I'm sure someone would really appreciate it but there's no way of passing or swopping buying of anything allowed here . Put it on Ebay and let us know when its for sale or something? Just an idea

I'll try to hack it somehow, increase the gap... but don't recommend otherwise.

Sounds like you have a poorly made one, maybe a reject as mine is ok. They aren't as good as the £40-90 ones but they give you the same outcome when milling, in your case mate, not, its not supposed to touch, you may have a poorly made one? I'll be getting the dearer one sometime in the New year but this one seems to be doing the job, I'll end up using it as a back up probably when I have the new one as ive had this a while now

You can buy the cutting disc spares for them too if i remember rightly?

I just wondered how that particular blade cut the flower. When grinding my flower it doesn't spin as well as well as a mill does, the cheapo one i have.

If its light and fluffy textured I'm sure it will be good for the Ruby

It's not a cut I wouldn't say, it more like pushes/pulls the buds apart in the places they would break up naturally, rather than ripping/shredding it apart

Much fluffier than grinding - the texture grinding is all jaggy

I thought it would be good with the ruby that's why I bought the cheapo one to see how they work. I bought too much just lately to afford one at the moment and other financial stuff . I'll definitely get one in the new year sometime

You can see you get a small variance in size of pieces as it's broken up more naturally

That was the #2 blade, when I order one, I'll order the extra blade that works best between the 2 mate
